Food is amazing; fresh & authentic Cambodian Amok. You absolutely need to taste their Borbor Tnaot, it's a creamy & fruity gem in Montreal.
People are very kind, it's a cozy experience at their place.

I spent a few weeks in Cambodia last year & fell in love with the Fish Amok. The version here is better! The server said it's their best seller. I'll be back for sure!

Omg, I lived a few months in Siem Reap 6 years ago & my favourites dishes were beef lok lak & fish amok. Unfortunately I did not see lok lak in this restaurant ( or they name it differently), but fish amok immediately brought me back to Cambodia.

Again, it was 6 years since I had it in Cambodia so don't remember exact taste but can say for sure - it is definitely at least very close to the authentic one.

THE GOOD:
Family run restaurant, a real jewel.
Quality & taste of the food was top notch.
Chicken Amok was really good, great flavor profile.
General Tuk Tuk (chicken) is a spin on General Tao. If your a General Tao aficionado, pass on this dish, but the juice - flavour profile - & spice-heat very mild.
Huge menu given type, size of kitchen, & location.

THE BAD:
Chicken Pad Thai was ok, very dry, there was no egg shreds, very little nuts, not much chicken. It was bland.
The portions are on the small size given the price & type of'hole in the ground' type restaurant that could afford to give you a little more meal value in portion size given the area that it serves.
General Tuk Tuk execution for flavour was awesome, unfortunately the general tao coating on the chicken was a little too mushy because the juice is much more liquidity than what you find in a typical szchezuan version for General Tao.

THE BAD:
No parking (typical issue given location).
Price Value to meal size for what it is could be 25% improved without affecting profits given my opinion (I have never seen the size of the round aluminum take out containers that size before for the typical'main size' servings-medium small)

Conclusion:
I love the one man show front of the house, Mom & Pop cooking out back. The menu is huge to satisfy everyone. Worth another shot given the selection. The signature dish was uniquely amazing.

Suggestions to management - offer a family meal package. For example: Choice for two people, or 3-to4, or 6 people:
CHOOSE - soup or salad, choice of main meals, & dessert Takeout (or in) Value Package.
