5 stars for the selection - there is just about anything & everything for East/Southeast Asian cooking. Many cashiers were open & I did not wait long to pay. The cashier was polite.
One star deducted for signs in aisles not pointing out where certain items are (for example, I needed rice flour & this is in the aisle marked'salt & sugar') & the signs listing only French names of products - they really should be in French & English.
Two stars deducted for the dictatorship-style coin deposit requirement to use a shopping cart. This is massively inconvenient for people who do not carry dollar coins around, & is insulting to customers sending a message that the store assumes you are a criminal & will steal the carts.
J'ai mangé sur place puisque la nourriture est tellement bonne. Les fruits & les légumes sont vraiment abordables. On trouve de tout : il y a des woks, chaudrons, poêlons, du sirop, des produits pour les soins du visage, un choix de desserts incroyable, des fruits de mer, poisson, viande etc. Je recommande fortement.
My favourite asian supermarket.I absolutely LOVE this place. I can spend hours just looking for new things to try. Great selection of asian shampoos & creams too. Highly recommend
This grocery store is just alright. They have a good selection of fruits & vegetables & some packaged goods that you can't get elsewhere in Montreal.
I'm hesitant to go back because an employee of the grocery store falsely accused me of stealing an onigiri from the ready made food section. I had to produce my receipt to prove that I paid for it. Also it cost like $2 & I regularly spent around $200 at this store so be wary of that I guess if you are dining in.
I was really disappointed with the cream puffs from the bakery inside T&T. They looked big & promising from the outside, but when I bit into them, there was barely any cream inside-just an empty shell. It felt like I paid for air. As you can see in the photo, there's almost no filling at all. Definitely not worth the price. I expected better quality from a place like this.
