We had a great dinner tonight at the Trattoria. My chicken was so moist & tender. My husband's Salmon was so moist & buttery. My girls loved their pasta dishes. Our server Yanis was fabulous. Such a great find in old Montreal amongst all the tourist restaurants. Reasonably priced as well.

We just had a great dinner at Trattoria Gio. We walked in without a reservation & met Yanis our waiter. The food was delicious, we had the chicken which was moist & seasoned perfectly. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Our girls enjoyed their pasta dish & we topped it off with Gelato & Tiramisu.
Went with family for evening dinner. The food was good however kinda feel scammed...asked for 3 PEPSI..was brought 1 Pepsi & two diet Pepsi (cannot drink diet) ask for replacement pops & nephew asked for second Pepsi they then brought 2 regular Pepsi for us & a diet Pepsi for nephew. Not to argue I paid the bill with all correct & incorrect pops included did not want to make a scene I kinda feel look down upon & taken advantage of because I'm a visitor.
The prices are pretty good & the food is super yummy. As a vegetarian with celiac I really liked this place. They have four types of gluten free pasta which is really nice.
Restaurant depicting high end but rally a low end restaurant. Service was poor. Order beverages with meal, they never came. Pizza was good. Lasagna was cold & incredibly salty. Ravioli was flavorful but presented poorly & quite a small portion for price. For the price of most dishes, choose someplace else.
We had a wonderful experience. Pauline was efficient & very friendly & kind. One of the best experiences we have had while traveling for the weekend. We will be back!
