Ma visite à la Trattoria Gio à Montréal a été sans conteste la meilleure expérience culinaire italienne . Dès l'entrée, j'ai été accueilli chaleureusement dans un décor à la fois rustique & élégant, rappelant les trattorias traditionnelles d'Italie. Le menu propose des plats authentiques préparés avec des ingrédients frais. J'ai débuté par une bruschetta savoureuse & poursuivi avec des pattes bolognaises absolument divines. Pour couronner le tout, le tiramisu maison était tout simplement excellent. Le service était impeccable, avec un personnel attentif & souriant. La carte des vins, riche en sélections italiennes, complétait merveilleusement les plats. En résumé, Trattoria Gio est une véritable pépite à Montréal, offrant une expérience culinaire italienne authentique & inoubliable. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous les amateurs de bonne cuisine.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered caprese (8.5/10) for starters fettuccine Alfredo & margarita pizza & tiramisu for dessert (all 10/10) The service was nicely timed not too quick not late. Beautiful ambience & view. Spent 76$ including tip.
Place looks nice! I ordered when arriving to Canada. Placed a phone order for pick up. When I arrived they didn't know I hadn't paid lucky were honest people & make sure to do so. I was excited to try some pasta in canada... this was not it. Alfredo was more like fast food.. no flavor. To be honest I didn't enjoy.
When I decided to take my boys to a late dinner at Trattoria Gio I expected that the food would only be mediocre, since the location would be perfect for a tourist trap. The service was friendly & attentive however the food was as expected: underwhelming. I bet that the pizza they serve is frozen. I'm not complaining about this, as mentioned, it met my expectations. The reason I'm writing this are all the raving reviews about this great Italian food. Folks, you can definitely have a good time at this place but great Italian food is not what is being served here.
Le personnel est très pro, attentionné & rapide. L'ambiance est cosy. Malheureusement le prix est pour moi excessif au vu des plats servit.. J'ai pris des lasagnes à 27$, cela faisait longtemps que je n'en avais pas mangé & j'en rêvais jusqu'à ce que je découvre que c'était simplement des pâtes à lasagne avec de la sauce tomate, même pas de béchamel, c'était donc trop acide. Tant pis j'ai été déçu mais j'aurais pu pardonner jusque là... Si je n'étais pas tombée très malade quelques heures après sur le retour: crampe d'estomac, grosse nausée, je me tordais de douleur à presque m'évanouir & j'en passe.

This restaurant has deteriorated recently. The service & availability was terrible. The food was still good. We ask for bread & were brought 5 pces for a table of 7. Asked for a second order of bread which never came. Ordered a soda which came 3/4 through the meal. Order coffee & they're out of sugar at 8pm on NYE. & the coffee was brought with no spoon. I guess they knew I wouldn't need it.
The Fettuccine pasta was undercooked & the meat was dry with random hard pieces of meat. The Spaghetti Bolognese was okay but the sauce was really watery. Maybe just not my day but won't recommend both the dishes.
Tres bon service & chapeau bas à la nouvelle chef Anna Sophia qui cuisine incroyablement bien vous ne serez pas déçu ! 😍😍
Idée de plats à essayer : fettucini Alfredo au poulet(crémeux à souhait ! ) & arancini (boulette de risotto champignon & mozzarella plein de goût ! )

Abiance Extraordinaire, Nourriture très bonne, Service génial. On y était un groupe de 20 personnes. Sommes tous du même avis, on va y retourner. Bravo Julien & mille mercis, salutations à toute la belle équip
Beau restaurant, serveur très attentionné, portion extrêmement généreuse. Pâtes au homard: un peu décevant (malgré les critiques positives lues sur votre site), car beaucoup de fromage dans le ravioli
