Very disappointing experience at Mike's Bromont. We were asked to leave the restaurant with our 5-year-old son because he had food from another restaurant, as he does not eat anything from the menu. The rest of the family was ready to order & dine there.

What made this especially upsetting was being told to take him outside to eat in -14°C weather, & then return afterward. While I understand restaurant rules, applying them so strictly to a young child with eating difficulties felt like a lack of empathy & basic human consideration.

This experience showed that rules mattered more than compassion. Unfortunately, it made us feel unwelcome & overshadowed what should have been a family moment.

Reçu un très bon service ! Hostesse a trouver une table alors que le restaurant en face n'avait pas de disponibilité & notre serveur Paul de Mike's etait super & a des excellente recommendations sur le menu. Il est bien meilleur que Mike chez Rona 😀

Je veux pas être rabat-joie mais j'aime mieux les autres mikes pour l'ambiance. C'est trop ouvert à bromont, bruyant, on s'entend à peine parler & on a pas vraiment l'opportunité d'avoir un minimum despace privé quand on mange à bromont.

Le resto semble plus désigné pour nous donner le goût de manger vite puis de s'en aller...

Ça donne pas le goût de'converser' quand ta conversation est entendue par tous (si ya peu de monde) vu qu'on est tous collés les uns aux autres... Ou ta conversation est enterrée sous les bruits du resto...

Ça aide pas que la cuisine soit pratiquement dans la salle à manger non plus...

Mais bon, ça reste au moins que c'est mikes (donc bonne nourriture) & il y a un jeune homme qui répond au téléphone pour les livraisons qui a le plus haut niveau de courtoisie & politesse qui soit. Il est absolument professionnel à chaque fois 👌

Update Oct 2025:

Ils ont des déjeuners de 10h à midi la fin de semaine seulement je crois.

la pizza bûcheron déjeuner est le meilleur déjeuner que j'ai mangé de toute ma vie! Sérieusement, commandez ça avec du vrai sirop d'érable que vous mettez dessus & vous me remercierez! C'est epic!
