About us
Open for over four years now, Toro Rosso Restaurant offers customers a revamped menu. With the closure of La Strega in the spring, Toro Rosso has acquired part of the staff as well as it’s chef. This allows us to merge the menus of both restaurants and to add meals that are prized by customers. Therefore, in addition to the grilled dishes that have made its reputation over the years, Toro Rosso also offers Italian cuisine...

The best pasta I have had in a very long time. Awesome atmosphere eating outside & the service is great.

Had an easy dinner at Toro Rosso, service was great, food overall ok if without expectations. Pasta was probably precooked assuming with the speed we got it, still tasted good & for around 20$ per portion price is ok for a restaurant, tiramisu a miss, made with cream instead of mascarpone & you can very much taste the difference. House wine was pretty good.

Food was lovely, the waiter was great but a little busy on his own.
Pizza was nice, not the best pizza I've ever had, but tasty.
The pesto pasta was delicious , Al dente & seasoned well.
The lights kept flickering, must be a faulty wire somewhere ! But added to the ambiance.

Was looking for an easy but good place to have a meal before a friday 7pm theater show & this restaurant was a couple of blocs away. Online menu seemed good enough but limited to mostly pastas & pizzas. This is by no means a fancy place but honest & straightforward. Appears to have many regulars as staff seem to recognize customers as they walk in & I took that as a good sign. Atmosphere was relaxing & inviting. Service was good & very friendly. English wasn't bad either, as I switched between both & so did the waiter. Pizza was good, cannellonis were also good but could have been a tad warmer.

Great service by Marco - & we were a group. The pasta & Coquilles St Jacques we're very tasty & the prices , especially for the house wine we're great - I will be back.

Leonardo, our waiter was a standout! A lovely, welcoming staff team: an old-school, well-established comfy Italian doing all the classic pasta pizza salad combos. Well-priced, predictable cuisine. Generally older clientele who are obviously loyal fans. Recommended, esp. if you are in Le Village.

Great place as always, the seafood is fantastic & the pasta makes me feel like I'm in Italy, enough said !
