Unsure why other reviews mention this as a good option for gluten free. They have gluten free bread for 4$. However, the omelette comes with potatoes that aren't gluten free & they have no other sides. If you want to swap out potatoes (8$ on the menu) for bread you have to pay the 4$ for the bread even though you aren't getting the 8$ potatoes. Also our server was very rude (even prior to mentioning anything about gluten free).

Lovely spot for an early breakfast in old Montreal - warm atmosphere, delicious food, our server Elle was very informed about my celiac dietary restriction's impact on the menu's offerings & even provided some recommendations for other gluten-free eats to check out during our stay in the city! I must add that the lavender latte was absolutely delectable. :)

Great place to come, very welcoming place with excellent ambient music. The coffee taste is superior, the food is exceptional, beyond expectations. The waitress, Kaylee, super sweet, kind, vibrant, & welcoming.

What a charming place we chose for breakfast. The food was delicious & the portions are large, too much for us British who prefer a light breakfast so I would recommend one to share. The atmosphere is great & very unique well worth a visit

Je commande un croissant aux amandes & un London fog.
Croissant ultra sec avec une crème d amande absente
Mon thé a été oublié donc je dois le recommander & pour finir le gars qui me fait payer me demande si je suis Français ou d ici au cas où je ne laisserai pas de pour boire ,oui je suis Français & je vis ici depuis 98.
Un peu d éducation serait magnifique

My wife & I spent 5 days in Old Montreal. We came accross Tommy's Cafe. Totally fell in love with this place. Wonderful environment with exceptional staff. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. We ate their 3 different times. My favourite meal was the Bae. I dont eat bread often but made the exception here. So fresh! Please get a cup of coffee, the best. We will return in October during our next visit. Keep up the great work.
