Review Summary

Reviewers describe Tokyo Station as a unique, vibrant spot that blends a Japanese convenience store vibe with a restaurant, where guests can choose drinks and mixers, self serve with ice, and even play games while dining. The concept and decor receive frequent praise for originality and atmosphere, with many noting a fun, immersive experience that feels like a Tokyo style setting far from typical dining. Food is generally described as delicious and varied, with highlights including takoyaki, sushi, karaage, sashimi bowls, and other bites; some comments mention portions being small or dishes tasting more casual or fast food like. The service is often lauded as friendly, attentive, and helpful, though a few experiences report slower timing or occasional missteps. The self serve drinks, market area, and board games add to a social, hangout vibe that many reviews consider a major draw, with value seen as good and pricing reasonable though some note drinks can be pricey. Overall, Tokyo Station is seen as a memorable, fun destination for friends or couples with a distinctive concept, strong atmosphere, and a menu that invites sharing and trying multiple items.

Really good had the spicy beef noodle bowl, short ribs & chicken skewers. Karaagee is good too!

The patio was closed but they let me seat at the patio with my dog.

The prices are great & food was delicious! Also had some Japanese & the price was pretty good comparing with other places.

I tried many dishes, like: Takoyaki, Curry, Chicken Karaage, Sushi & Eel. Everything was delicious. Still want to try other dishes too. My only recommendation is to serve the Karaage with some sauce, maybe mayo.

Great vibe, service & delicious food! Highly recommend! Will come back soon

The service & food was good. Went with the recommendation for the udon teriyaki chicken & got extra chicken. Unique atmosphere & unique napkins stood out One of the better vibes & restaurants in montreal. Downtown doesn't compare.

Food was average, concept & atmosphere is good if you want to drink & hang with friends, it had some games too (we played Jenga)
We went in just for food though which was okish. The Okayon Don & Volcano Salmon bowl both had some unexpected sweet taste. The karage chicken quantity was very less, it said 6 pieces but were small & thin. Yakitori was okish. Gyoza was decent.

Great interior design, short ribs portions is very small, pieces of Karaage chicken taste good but they're strips not thighs or breasts. The Volcano Salmon will fill you up & the rice very well cooked. The concept is great, though the food portions are is way too small.

Nice fun place for a change of scenery. Cool concept where you get drinks & snacks from the main hallway & can order food. Mostly snack food.

Takoyaki: I've had many around in Montreal & gotta say these are quite good. Top 5.

Tako Karaage: was good but a bit salty. Goes well with a nice cold Sapporo.

Short Ribs: tasteful. Liked the sauce.

Karaage: very good chicken. I have aldo tried many japanese style fried chicken & this one is top 5.

Overall great place to have a bit of fun & games if you like that kind of vibe.

Only negative & reason for my 4 star was the bench to sit. It was a very small stool not at all comfortable for a 36 year old 😅.

Price was actually reasonable. $73 tip included for two people for a night out nowadays I consider good.

Tokyo Station was amazing! We loved the ambiance, the music, & the overall vibe of the place. The food was delicious, especially the fried chicken,it was absolutely bomb! The concept is really well thought out, & the service was excellent. Plus, the owners are so kind & welcoming.
Thank you for a great experience! We'll definitely be back

This is such a great new restaurant with a fun concept in Brossard. It's a lot to take in because it's very different from your traditional restaurant. You have a light at the table that has two colours. One colour means that you're open to having others join you. & the other means that you're open to doing that. It's a great way to meet other people & have fun. Then there are games that you can play. However they have a drinking twist to them. So you would probably end up drinking a bit more. Then if you want drinks, you can go to their market section. You have many different types of drinks. Some are imported from Asia & some are the traditional pop. You can buy a mix package with alcohol & mix the drink yourself at your table in a cup that you decorate with stickers. It's cute! They have snacks & desserts there, so you can grab stuff from there & complement your meal. The service was friendly & attentive. We had the curry chicken & the fried chicken burger. The chicken was very crispy & tasty. The crab croquettes were good as well.
However I don't agree with the fact that they don't serve water & that you need to purchase bottled water. That's a basic necessity of a restaurant to provide & it's the first ever restaurant I've been to that didn't serve water. The other thing is that I'm picking up a lot of the stuff at the market on my own, but I still end up paying tips on that when the bill comes. Except if you calculate that amount out. However, I did have a lot of fun & the staff did a good job & I was ok paying tips on that. I would definitely go back & it would be even more fun when there's going to be more people.
