THAILAND -- what comes to your mind when thinking about THAILAND? Is it the temple, the local market, the crazy nightlife, or the Thai smile?!

For me, it is PLAIN SIMPLE: THAI STREET FOOD! Just the ordinary comfort food next to the street - the smell of curries, the colourful dishes with perfect spices, and the wok skill of local vendors.

THAM.MA.DA, a Thai word used to describe something ordinary or simple, is a casual dining cuisine serving ordinary but authentic Thai street dishes. As well as Thai inspired drinks that will bring the “ordinary but extraordinary” vibes, the “same same, but different” food on the plate for you to EXPERIENCE.

We , 4 seniors, found the place place MUCH too cold & asked to have the thermostat lowered.
The reply was: not possible.
We could not be relocated, since the place was full.

From a safety perspective, there is a small step up ( to the right of the entrance) lit by a strip of lights , but invisible.
Suggestion: Please place a yellow wide tape across the TOP of the elevation.
This would warn a person about to step down & prevent a fall or injury.
( it would cost much less than a lawsuit).

Unfortunately we were seated very close to a very laud table. 6 or so young professionals seemed to have a party or work get together. Will come again & make sure we have a good table. In fact we reserved on the internet at the side terrace that when we showed up was closed & not available. We did not wanted to be on the street.

Funky spot with a lively atmosphere. Food is more Street Food , as advertised, than sophisticated Thai. But everything was tasty, served quickly & professionally. All very good.

We (party of 7) had a great time at Thammada. We sat on the summer terrace, but the inside looked very cute as well. The servers were very attentive & kind, & the food & drinks were honestly SO GOOD. i have eaten at most Thai restaurants in Montreal, & this is my new favourite. We ordered (I think) 7 starters & dishes to share between us, & then a mango sticky rice per person. The dishes are not huge, but I was pleasantly sated. I definitely *could* have eaten more (but then might have felt gross). I'm already trying to figure out when I can next go back!

Bonne cuisine mais service complètement décousu. La moitié de la table a eu ses plats d'un coup & l'autre moitié 45 minutes plus tard. & pourtant, il n'y avait pas 50 clients.
