I recently visited a terrace Place D'Armes that offered a lovely atmosphere with a breathtaking view of downtown Montreal & the CHUM hospital. While the overall experience was pleasant, there were several aspects worth noting. **Menu & Food Quality:** The menu at this terrace is notably limited when it comes to food options. The dishes available are somewhat pricey, & the portion sizes don't quite match the cost. The quality of the food is average, & nothing particularly stands out. This place is not ideal if you're seeking a culinary adventure or a filling meal. **Drink Selection:** On the flip side, the drink menu is extensive & caters to a wide range of tastes. I tried the Basilique, which unfortunately fell short with its weak lemon & basil flavor. **Service:** Service here is quite satisfactory & notably fast. The staff are attentive & ensure that you have what you need without long waits. **Atmosphere:** The terrace truly shines with its ambiance. The view of downtown Montreal & the CHUM hospital is lovely, making it a great spot to relax & enjoy the surroundings. It is recommended to visit in the afternoon rather than during hot, sunny weather to fully enjoy the place. Also, making a reservation is advisable since it can get quite busy. **Accessibility:** Parking is challenging in this area, so it's better to use public transportation, particularly the subway, to reach the terrace easily. **Overall:** Overall, this terrace is okay & best suited for those looking to enjoy a drink with friends or family. The view & drink selection are the main attractions, while the food & parking situation leave room for improvement.😀
Je suis allé souper récemment à la terrasse & j'ai passé un super beau moment. Très bon service de la part de Thierry notre serveur! Super gentil ! Je recommande à tous d'y allé !

The drinks were great-perfectly served. The atmosphere was lively, making it a great spot to relax & enjoy the evening. The service was also commendable, efficient & friendly. A great place to visit when you're in Montreal
Amazing service By Olivier. All smile & funny. The tequilamargo & the roasted chicken supreme were amazing & recommendation of the bartender. Thank you for such a pleasant experience

Terrasse sur le toit de l'hotel, vue assez sympa sur les buildings du centre ville mais sans grand charme. Avec des tables & chaises en plastique. Un effort a ete fait sur le bar & les tables hautes mais cela manque de style. La musique est forte & la plupart des clients sont des touristes. A tester une fois pour vous faire votre propre opinion.
J'ai vécu un après midi vraiment remarquable grâce à Audrey qui nous a accueillis vraiment chaleureusement. J'ai mangé selon ses recommendations & j'ai eu une expérience vraiment agréable. En plus de la vue ! Je vais revenir c'est assuré
Wonderful evening at terasse places d'armes! Tristan our waiter was super charismatic, attentive & knowledgeable on the menu. I ordered a burrata salad despite not liking tomatoes & the chef Dom assured me that he could make it just as tasty without the tomatoes. Definitely recommend this terasse! :)
Five stars all the way! The cocktails are simply delicious, expertly crafted with a perfect balance of flavours. The ambiance is unbeatable, with stunning views. The staff are attentive & friendly, making sure every moment is memorable. This place is a must visit & I can't wait to come back for more!

La terrasse s'illustre par sa splendeur, cependant, les plats se sont révélés dépourvus de saveur, en particulier le tartare de saumon. Le service, lui aussi, faisait défaut. En revanche, les cocktails ont su conquérir nos papilles.
