Great location. I am visiting from New York & must admit Montreal has nothing to en envy us. Especially the service, which was A1. Thank you Massimo for your kindness & great recommandations for the rest of our trip.
People go there mostly for the view of the old port . Food is average, not wow but it's good. Just a little expensive. The service is ok too. My only problem was that people were smoking outside while we were eating.
Lovely environment, ambiance & the server William was awesome! He did a great job in servicing us, made great recommendations & overall had a superb energy! Would definitely come back!
This place is really good. They have the best shrimps & lobster I've ever had & the staff is very kind. I would recommend the seafood 100%. A little overpriced but it's expected in this area.

Such a great terrace in the Old Port ! Despite the rainy weather, their setup transformed the drizzle into a charming ambiance. The food was decent, but the service alone was enough to make sure I will be back. Thank you Leina for the amazing night !

I checked into the hotel about 1/2 an hour after getting off the train. Although I did not have a reservation, I did mention I was staying with the hotel for 4 nights & as there was space they gladly accommodated me. Great outdoor atmosphere with a nice view & breeze off of the Saint Lawrence River. Henry, my waiter ,was friendly, spot on with his recommendations, checked back several times to ask if everything was to my satisfaction & if I required anything else. All the staff were attentive to check for & clear or bring further orders as required. The house guacamole, salade nicoise, 2 Nelligan Margaritas plus 18% tip $109.89. In my opinion, the appetizer of guacamole is sufficient to share between two & the salade nicoise was a good portion for one. Outstanding presentation & taste. I love the outdoor setting & music was quiet enough that one can converse easily. A very relaxed & professional vibe. Thanks to Henry & the staff. P.S. better to book in advance as by 5pm nothing was available until after 7pm.

From the moment we sat down on the lovely terrace, Leena made our time wonderful with her friendly smile, attention to detail, & great suggestions for our drinks :)
I came here for a drink tonight. I was lucky to get a seat on the bar without any wait. The Aperol Spritz was mediocre at best. After I got my drink the service was non existent. I had to almost run after a waiter to get the bill. Got a bill that was obviously wrong (120$ instead of 25$). Took ages to get the new one. & as I was finally about to leave the waiter very rudely stops me to inform me that my card got declined when he just messed up the card readers & it was once again a very obviously different amount. Not even an apology for any of the terrible service. The view is fairly nice & the vibe could be great if the staff was somewhat friendly. But it's also rather pricey with 22$ for a Aperol spritz.
On a eu une super belle expérience chez Terasse Nelligan. Le service était excellent! Notre serveur, Henry (the asian guy) était full gentil avec nous. On reviendrait!

Nourriture décevante pour les prix. Deux minuscules morceaux de pieuvre beaucoup trop cuite avec des petit morceaux d'ananas. Serveur très sympathique par contre, on a pu remplacer par des huîtres. Belle vue & ambiance mais je n'y retournerai pas pour mange
Cute terrasse in the old port, the cocktails tasted good & overall the food tasted good as well, however, very small portions, ended up eating again before the night was over. The service was awful.. I guess we got unlucky with our waiter but wow, slow, no smile, not paying us any attention, was expecting more for this place
Nous avons fait un passage improvisé en fin de soirée à la Terrasse Nelligan & avons été impressionné par l'ambiance & le service exceptionnel de William! Il nous a chaleureusement bien accueilli & nous a transporté à travers une dégustation de plusieurs cocktails à couper le souffle 🍸✨ Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir & espérons que William sera là pour nous faire découvrir également la fine cuisine de la Terrasse Nelligan 💛
