Ate here for NYE & the food was phenomenal! Service was excellent too, & the atmosphere was, as expected, fun a vibrant. The stand-out dishes for our party were the steak, key lime pie & bread pudding. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Montreal area.

La nourriture était bonne (salade de radicchio & le saumon), mais le cocktail était fade & dilué. Le service était décevant. Peu attentif, ni proactif pour un groupe de 10 personnes.

Tavern on the Square was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, the staff was exceptionally courteous, with a very warm dining ambiance. Looking forward to returning soon.

Nice place with good food although it is a bit overpriced. I had the duck breast & it was cooked perfectly but it was very salty. There is a full bar with a very nice drink selection. The service was good & the waitress was friendly.

Jon & his crew have the perfect balance of attentive & casual service. One of our favorite go-to spots for a special occasion or an impromptu night out. Their "specials of the day" menu tends to have some gems, especially when it comes to local & in season food.
