Went there 4 or 5 times now across the past months so i can give a general review.
It gets fairly busy on end of the week evening & live singer or birthday here & there bring to a nice vibrant atmosphere.
Having tried most of their tacos & quesadillas, they do not dissapoint & im judging from the standpoint of someone who travel thru mexico often, canadian prices yes, but mexican quality.
I wish them to have a successful adventure here in Hochelaga & to keep those fair price to keep people coming.
PS : margaritas are great but beer could be a little bit more affordable (& people would be more prone to have a few during the meal)
Mon amie & moi sommes arrivées à 7h40 & les filles ne voulaient plus honorer la promotion de 25CAD pour les tacos que vous vouliez manger. Je n'ai pas trouvé ça honnête, nous avons payé le prix de la lettre. La nourriture était très bonne, en petites portions. Ambiance calme & familiale.
Llegamos mi amiga y yo a las 7.40 y las chicas ya no quisieron respetar la promocion de 25CAD por los tacos que quieras consumir. No me parecio honesto, pagamos al costo de la carta. El sabor de la comida muy bueno, porciones pequenas. Ambiente tranquilo, familiar.

Très bel endroit, excellent chanteur #lemarichaidemontreal. Service chaleureux & courtois. Points à améliorer, musique très forte, même quand presque vide vers 18:00 & niveau de basse de balancé ( au moins 5db trop fort entre 50 & 100 hz ). Le tout s'est grandement amélioré lors que le mariachi est arrivé point de vue qualité sonore. Sinon, j'ai enregistré une pointe à 114 db lors de la remise d'une bouteille de Téquila. Ça aura été mon coup de barre & notre départ. Bref, si il pouvaient ajuster le système de son par un professionnel & ajuster les niveaux à pas plus de 95 voir 100 db, j'aurais donné 5 étoiles & j'y retournerais plus souvent.
Si vous avez l'habitude de prendre les tacos, essayez les gorditas à la place, je vous promets que vous ne serez pas déçus!
J'ai mis 4 étoiles pour l'ambiance car il faisait froid dans le restaurant! À noter que notre table était la plus proche de la fenêtre, mais quand même!

I called to get an order for pick up since the website would not allow me to order & the number kept forwarding my call to a voicemail that was not set up. I guess you don't want to sell me food. I'll order from somewhere else.
I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon - it was pretty empty. I saw many videos & ads on social media beforehand so that is how I found out about this place. The evening atmosphere based on the videos seems much livelier - an ideal party spot. We wanted to try some beef birria tacos however were told they were not yet ready - in a way, that is good news if they are making it fresh to anticipate the dinner ruch. We settled for other types of beef tacos & some type of a quesadilla. These are served with guacamole, lime, & a fresh cream - similar to sour cream. At the table, there are 2 bottles of sauces - these were tasty but both extremely spicy for our liking. The taco plates are not served with any sides & are in the $20 range. I found this to be pricey as the portion initially looked small, but they are all well stuffed so end up being very filling. The flavors were fresh, well seasoned & very tasty. It hit the spot. Service was friendly & prompt, our server was hispanic & did not speak much english or french however. Note that they do offer an all-you-can-eat special on some nights of the weeks for tacos as well as chicken wings - this is worth the price if you have a large appetite. Un resto de quartier avec une ambiance festive, un service extraordinaire & une cuisine typique. Tout y est! Ça mérite un 4 étoiles. Je vous le recommande si vous avez le goût de manger mexicain. ¡Un restaurante de barrio con un ambiente súper alegre, un servicio increíble y comida bien rica! ¡Tiene todo! Se merece un 4 estrellas. Se los recomiendo si les antoja comida mexicana.
