My husband & I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary & chose this restaurant. I was hoping that the waiter would have made it a little extra special for us by either giving us a complimentary dessert or drink. Otherwise, the food was great.
We asked for the menus again to look at the desserts. For some accidental reason, we were given French Menus which none of us could read, & had to wait 10 min before someone returned so we could ask for the English menus.
Delicious meal & wonderful service! Although we had to remind our waiter when paying our bill that he forgot to bring the surprise birthday dessert even though he confirmed it when taking our order ruining the surprise! Hahaha! We all had a good laugh! Always a great time at Table51 Decarie! Guaranteed return customers in this group! Thank you all!
My wife & I dined at T51 Decarie last night (Feb 14/23). She now has severe diarrhea. She ordered the Steak Tartare & I had the crab cakes. Maybe the Tartare was not prepared correctly. We are going to the clinic to check her out. Apart from this the service was sub-par. We were not asked whether we wanted appetizers. We were not finished drinking our cocktail when the meal & our wine arrived. & we were told to ensure we would be gone before 8:30 PM.
For the price that were charged (our bill totaled $140 & we had no appetizers & we shared one cocktail & a dessert), I feel we were overcharged considering the poor service & the food that caused my wife to get sick.
Table 51 has become our favourite go to restaurant. We love the menu with its outstanding appetizers, main courses. desserts & martinis!. We have introduced many of our friends to Table 51. They have loved it. On Saturday night, we were a party of 10. Everyone was very impressed! ! I usually have the exceptional roast salmon. This time I ordered the ravioli which was outstanding. Mark our server was excellent & very accommodating...he took a great picture of our group. The music/noise level which has been an issue in the past was barely audible. Thank you Jimmy for that. We love your restaurant & love you!

All I can say is wow ,everything from the service from our waitress & the food was excellent.We took multiple entrees from the Lobster Tacos to popped shrimp & chicken all was delicious.The rib steak was cooked to perfection & Gucci burger delicious.The fried Oreo dessert omg delicious.Table 51 a must try !!
Marc our host was impeccable .. wine bottle very tasty, dozen oysters just for me Amazingg! Salmon tartare as usual, awesome. Steak taquitos starter , & the very tasty Korean short rib .. 🤷🏻♀️Oopsie no room for dessert !!!
We were a party of three. There were so many enticing items on the menu it was difficult to choose! I had the catch of the day, Arctic Char, which came with swiss chard & capers & was delicious. My companions opted for roasted salmon on red quinoa with a delicious light sauce. They were very pleased. The sides were interesting, different & fresh. A welcome change from the typical. For dessert we shared the coconut cream pie :-) We look forward to going back. I would love to try the grilled eggplant!

Outstanding!!! Service, servers, meal!!! All terrific. However... always a but or an however. The lobster tacos were very nice however tad more lobster inside would have been an "oh my goodness... what a lovely surprise!" The Bailey's ice cream dessert Outstanding!!!
Unfortunately we did not enjoy the restaurant. $26 for a grilled eggplant is a bit much. $40 for a small piece of halibut there's a pile of rice in my opinion it's a little bit excessive we brought a recently married couple for a celebration & the best they could do was put a sparkler on one of the pay desserts .On the positive side the food was tasty & the service was very good.
Overall a great dining experience. We sat outdoors at the lively makeshift terrasse. The food was delicious, tried the grilled eggplant, which is a new addition to the menu. The red wine sangria was a hit as well.
The only issue I had, which really isn't an issue, is that too many servers kept coming to the table asking the same questions, eg would you like coffee & dessert, can I refill your wine glass?
Overall, all lovely experience, & I'll be back soon.
Great dinner with a longtime friend who I rarely get to see. The salmon tartare & fashion salad were both great & we shared the brownie for dessert which was decadent & definitely appropriate for sharing. The service was top notch - we got good recommendations, our water glasses were never empty, & were even offered more hot water for our tea without having to ask. There was a DJ & while the music added to the atmosphere it did make it a little bit loud for having a conversation - not unpleasantly loud though. Definitely will be back.
