Trop cool chez Sushi Sama. T'as des portions énormes, les sushis sont dingues. Le staff, super sympa. Plein de choix pour les sushis & toujours très frais. Vaut le détour, super spot.

J'ai toujours commandé là & les sushi sont excellents & frais! Malheureusement, cela fait deux fois que nous commandons à cet endroit & il y a des arrêtes dans l'anguille. La premiere fois, nous avons appelé pour seulement les en informer. Plusieurs semaines plus tard, nous recommandons & c'est la même chose. Nous ne pouvons simplement pas les manger!

We ordered 2 pokes tonight & some maki tartares. The lobster's poke, there's barely any lobster in it: 40% of rice krispy + tempura, 50% of rice & salad, 7% of crabstick & 3% of lobster. We ordered also 2 kind of maki tartares. It's the same thing as the poke: too much of rice krispy, barely any main ingredient. We love more the Old Montreal's Sushi Sama than Laval, they balance it well the ingredients.

I ordered yesterday but it was significantly less enjoyable than the other times. The sushi was not as tasty, I could barely taste the salmon (it has a distinctive taste), the rice was dryer than usual, the rolls weren’t as tight & were falling apart as I was picking them up. The mayonnaise sauce was not mayonnaise, it was some cheap version of a sauce. The fried rolls were also very disappointing. I was looking forward to treating myself with a midweek special dinner but it turned out not so great.
(& why are the stairs & floor in the shop so black ?! Yes, black with dirt!!)
My guess is that they did very well at the beginning & are now slacking because customers enjoy the easy way to order online.
