We had dinner at SUGO on Friday, November 21st, 2025, with high expectations given its popularity. Unfortunately, our experience was largely underwhelming.
Let's start with the positive: the Roasted Cod was truly excellent-perfectly cooked, flaky, & flavorful. It was the clear standout of the evening. The atmosphere was also warm & cozy, & it's easy to see why it's a popular spot, as the restaurant was fully booked. The price point felt reasonable for the area.
However, the rest of the meal failed to impress. We ordered two appetizers, including the fried calamari, & found them to be just'so-so.' They lacked the freshness & crispness we were hoping for. For our mains, the Pizza Bianca & the pasta dish were similarly average & forgettable, especially when compared to the excellent cod.
Given that four out of the five dishes we tried were merely okay, we left feeling disappointed. While the cod was a highlight & the ambiance is lovely, the overall inconsistency means we cannot wholeheartedly recommend SUGO, & we don't plan on returning.
Got there with no reservations,they happily offered us seats at bar. We had the pizza, Margarita n Vegetarian, excellent! Highly recommend this quaint little restaurant. Authentic Italian pizza. Staff super friendly n very pleasant. Will definitely go back & try something else on the menu. Thank you
Quelle superbe expérience chez Sugo à Longueuil! Dès notre arrivée, le service a été tout simplement exceptionnel - le personnel est incroyablement gentil, attentionné & connaît vraiment bien le menu.
Côté bouffe, c'était un vrai festin! Nos coups de coeur : les arancini Cacio e Pepe, parfaitement croustillants & remplis de saveur, ainsi que les polpettes, tendres & savoureuses. Pour les plats principaux, le rigatoni carbonara était tout simplement incroyable! Le pappardelle ragù nous a réchauffé le coeur par cette journée froide, tellement réconfortant & riche en saveur. Le gnocchi stracciatella, quant à lui, était d'une légèreté surprenante. & que dire de la pizza Parma… absolument délicieuse, garnie généreusement de prosciutto & de roquette fraîche.
On a terminé avec un tiramisu qui était sans doute le plus léger qu'on ait jamais mangé - un vrai délice!
On a tellement adoré notre souper qu'on a déjà réservé notre prochaine visite avant même de partir. Bravo à toute l'équipe de Sugo - vous avez gagné de nouveaux clients réguliers!

Vraiment une superbe expérience au Sugo !
D'abord, il y a eu un léger retard pour avoir la table que nous avions réservée. Cependant, pour compenser le retard (10-15 minutes seulement), nous avons reçu un verre de mousseux gratuitement.
En ce qui concerne le souper, tout était fantastique ! J'aime beaucoup cuisiner des plats italiens à la maison, mais ce que j'ai pu manger au Sugo est à un autre niveau ! Le pesto de pistache était délicieux & les gnocchis délicats & savoureux !
Excellent restaurant! Nous étions trois & avons adoré chacun de nos plats. Le service est rapide & impeccable, & l'ambiance est très bonne dans le restaurant. Définitivement un sans-faute!
I took my mom here for her birthday, & we had a perfect experience. Great food, attentive servers, & a vibrant atmosphere. Can't wait for another opportunity to go back.
Tellement heureux d'avoir enfin se genre de restaurant dans la rive-sud avec un service tellement agréable qu'on peu vraiment profiter du travail des chefs . Je vous le recommande vivement
C'était excellent en tout la seule raison que j'ai donné 4 étoiles en total c'est que 90% du menu est avec du porc alors pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas le porc ou végétariens ils ont très peu de choix. Mais honnêtement meilleure cuisine italienne que j'ai jamais goûté à date service impeccable & ambiance super chaleureuse.
