I ordered achari chicken biryani. It's not good, overpriced & waste of money. It seems if they bought frozen chicken cubes from Walmart & mixed with boiled rice & onion tomato paste; & served.

The place is fairly average, but the portion sizes are big & it is a good spot for cheap eats. Just don't expect too much in terms of ambiance or premium quality. I had the dum biryani & it was decent for the price.

Excellency service, quick order & food. Naan was airy & crisp. Karahai was amazing. & of course the Biryani was great. The decor was unique & felt like authentic Pakistani dining & great music was playing.

Truly one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Every time I come back to visit this is the first place I go. The biryani is absolutely phenomenal, but so is everything else on the menu. If you don't believe me, my friends from South Asia have told me they haven't found a better spot in Montreal. Don't leave mtl without getting a lunch at Student Tasty Biryani. Insanely delicious, big portions, & very reasonably priced.
