Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Chez Souvlaki Bar : nous garantissons la fraîcheur et la qualité de nos ingrédients, d’où vient notre slogan : Je suis fresh.

I went with my kids first day of the year, my 2 kids had KFC to eat, Me & my oldest were supposed to order adult meals for us, they refused us in, saying it is a franchise.. This was mean I did not like it! 😐

Very tasty & well priced for what you get. We got the chicken pita platter with Greek potatoes & it was excellent. Very tasty!

La nourriture est très bonne. Le demi poulet est un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour 2 personnes. Les bols gyros sont de bonnes portions à prix raisonnable. Le service est toujours impeccable surtout de la part de Chris, un service exceptionnel. Nous sommes toujours satisfaits à chaque fois.

Simple setup but the food was fresh & tasted really good, ordered the chicken & beef yero with fries & it was really tasty, great family place for a good meal that will not break the bank, Our server was also good & attentive which is all one can ask for when frequenting a restaurant

I ordered calamari, it was tasty but the nature of this plate is oily, I can't blame the quality, however the quantity is very big. I had a chicken plate also but I found the chicken & rice with extra oil too. Very very big cut of potatoes. Did I like it?! Yes, Do I go back? Not my taste.
Still I say it's a good restaurant.

Usually good, but had a bad experience First of all you should not be working in a restaurant when you are sick especially the one preparing the food. Secondly if you sneeze have a bit of dignity & wash your hands. One of the staff who was serving us sneezed a couple of times never went to clean or wash their hands & continued serving us our food. Have a bit of respect for your clients because without them you would not have a job. Respect for others goes a long way.

My husband & I have ordered from here a few times, & nothing beats a restaurant that delivers the same amazing quality every single time - no matter who's in the kitchen! The salad is always fresh, the chicken is cooked perfectly (never dry!), & it's definitely one of our favourite spots for fries.
The portions are generous, even for takeout, which we really appreciate. Consistency like this is hard to find - thank you for always delivering such great food!

Grilled meats were tender & moist. Amazing salads. Huge portions, everyone left stuffed & satisfied!

The highlight was the service, sadly not the food, the portions were great though. The sausage had a great taste but the skin was a bit to hard for my taste. My main dishe was good but I i found that the best in my plate was the salad, the potatoes were bland & the porc was dry.

J'ai commandé 2 souvlaki pita avec frites.
Rendu a mon auto, j'ai vérifié ma commande, il y avait 1 souvlaki & une salade (je ne croyais pas avoir de salade...)
Je suis retourné à l'intérieur du resto & j'ai fais part de l'erreur à la demoiselle qui m'a servi. Croyant avoir fait une erreur lorsque j'ai commandé, je demande à la demoiselle pourquoi j'avais une salade & elle me répond que tous les souvlakis pita viennent avec frites, riz & salade. Je lui demande donc d'ajouter un autre souvlaki. Après vérification du menu sur le site web, il y a un prix pour un souvlaki seul sans les à côté...???
La fille commande donc un autre souvlaki au porc en mentionnant au cuisinier de prioriser cette commande mais il ne le fais pas. Il a fallu que le gérant vienne me voir & me propose une alternative plus rapide (viandes tranchées, gyros peut-être ? Pas sur...).
Arrivé chez moi, le 1er souvlaki, frites & riz était tiède & la viande dure & plein de gras!!!
Le 2e souvlaki était excellent & bien chaud!
Bref, vraiment déçu de mon expérience...

Nice place with a terrace. The food was very good, I was indeed surprised. Calamari ( fried ) were amazing. Verdict : give it a try.

I ordered from this restaurant in 2018. It was excellent. I'm unable to order on Uber Eats because there is no option to have NO ONIONS on the pita. Would love to order on Uber Eats. Hopefully they can make the adjustments on the Uber Eats platform.

3 of us moms with strollers & babies went to have lunch hoping for the best 🙈 OUR EXPERIENCE WAS NOTHING LESS THEN AMAZING!! We were set up so well & treated like queens! The meal was so delicious even the babies loved it!
We would like to thank you souvlaki bar for giving us the best time & helping us raise funds for our preschool we are beyond grateful for such kindness! 🥳 We will be back 🩷
