Husband & I were only in Montreal for two days, & most of that time was spent hunting down good food.
Snowdon Deli topped the charts across the board for us on this short weekend break. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, & the food is filling & homey in a way that I think anyone could enjoy.
Not pictured was the chicken soup with matzo ball which we got before the smoked meat sandwich on rye & the smoked meat benny. After that we managed to snag the last bit of coffee cake & a lemon square. Everything was a star in it's own right. It all came out quickly, & was worth every single cent & more.
We haven't tried every food place in the city this weekend, obviously, but I would say that if you're ever around snowdon & you dont come here? Then you're missing out.

No better smoke meat in the world! Staff are incredible. Food is the best. I can't give a higher rating to this place. Been feeding my family for more than 75 years.
1st time here! I agree! This place is way better!!!! Wow! Definitely lived up to the hype! Our server was really nice as well! I highly recommend this place! Forgot to take pictures. Was too hungry & we just landed.
Hands down, one of the oldest & best smoke meat places in Montreal! Amazing food, amazing staff & a classic diner vibe.

Came Saturday for lunch! Hard to find parking in the area. Luckily line was not very long. Got the smoked meat sandwich (portion size is small in my opinion). Meat was very soft. Also got an order of fries.
Went today for the first time to get a take out, the service was super friendly & welcoming. We already felt like regulars, & will definitely become so. Got the potato salad & some tuna/egg sandwich, both were good!! I recommend.
Aye tonight at Snowdon deli.
Received the sandwich & the bread fell apart after 2 bites.
The meat was tasteless & was very disappointing.

The vibes is nice here like an old deli shop & the staff is kind. The food is average. This is a place for smoke meat lovers, if thats what you want then try it out.
Today was my first time at Snowdon Deli & I regret not having it on my radar sooner. Had smoked meat & fries. Probably the best smoked meat I've had. ✨
Je ne comprends pas le buzz. Je ne suis pas fan ou connaisseur de smoked meat mais quand même, la viande n'avait pas tnt de goût ou d'assaisonnements. Les cornichons & les frites étaient bons & croquants! :)
Nourriture: bof ok moyen. Ça ne vaut pas le déplacement.
Service: moyen au mieux.
Ambiance: ennuyeuse & drabe.
