Une fois assis à notre table le service a été prompt; le vin & les entrés sont arrivées. Le repas principal a été suivi d'une longue pause, genre 40 minutes, on a dû intervenir auprès du serveur, sans grand résultat.
Une fois les entrés terminées, on a voulu remettre les assiettes de service & les ustensiles, le serveur nous a dit de garder nos ustensiles, ce qu'on a fait, en les déposant sur la table, salis, sans assiette de service pour les accueillir. Acceptable?
Une fois le vin terminé (avant le repas principal), on a mis la bouteille au rebord de la table, avec les verres vides. Plusieurs serveurs sont passés faire le service aux tables adjacentes, sans les prendre. Une fois que le repas principal est arrivé, j'ai demandé au serveur de la prendre.
En aucun temps on a rempli nos verres, pas de souci.
On ne nous a pas demandé si on voulait une autre bouteille, pas de souci.
2 assiettes étaient excellentes : le saumon cari & le VG Massaman. Le Pad Thai au poulet était presque froid avec très peu de poulet, genre 2 morceaux. Il a fallu demander à 3 serveurs un couteau avant d'en avoir un. Au lieu de relayer le message à notre serveur, pourquoi celui qui a reçu la demande initiale ne l'a pas fait?
Le VG tofu Panithit est essentiellement une montagne de cubes de Tofu sur une sauce nettement trop sucrée dans le fond de l'assiette
Régler l'addition s'est fait rapidement.
You can't go wrong with Siam! I recently visited Siam, & I had an incredible dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with vibrant flavors & fresh ingredients that truly stood out. The ambiance was cozy & inviting, creating a warm & relaxed atmosphere perfect for a meal with friends or family. The vibe was lively, yet comfortable, enhancing the overall experience.
The staff was friendly & efficient, making sure we felt taken care of from the moment we walked in. Service was flawless - quick, attentive, & professional. I highly recommend any Siam for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a welcoming environment with top-notch service. I visited Siam Dix30 & Siam Downtown Montreal.

Notre première visite & assurément pas la dernière! On a pris ma demande en considération & ce fut très apprécié car l'emplacement de notre table était parfaite. Que dire de l'accueil…wow! Notre serveur Thomas super sympathique, souriant & connait très bien son menu 👌🏻tellement agréable de sentir un bel esprit d'équipe dans un restaurant, ce qui fait en sorte que l'ambiance est agréable & conviviale.
Un vrai coup coeur pour Siam Dix-30 ❤?

The decorations here are lovely. It's a very nice ambiance.
The food was definitely white-people-food-y as it wasn't particularly spicy.
The bathrooms were cool. I liked that each stall had its own sink.

Amazing food & specially vegan options. Just a side note to be mindful of spice levels, we asked for making food spicy & were pleasantly surprised Lol

Nous avons vraiment passé une soirée exceptionnelle. Nous fréquentons ce restaurant depuis de nombreuses années. Ils sont attentionnés aux allergies. Il sont à l'écoute de nos besoins. Nous avons passé une très belle soirée. La saveur des plats est savoureuse. Nous recommandons ce restaurant assurément!!!!
Nous demeurons à Saint-ours & nous faisons le trajet car nous savons que le détour en vaut vraiment le coût!! Josee Guillotte & Patrick Beauchemin
