L’histoire de SHNOOPI commence avec notre famille, imprégnée de l’héritage culinaire des pays méditerranéens. Nous avons grandi en Égypte et avons beaucoup voyagé dans d’autres pays avec lesquels nous partageons la mer cristalline, comme l’Italie, la Grèce, le Liban, la France, etc D’aussi loin que nous nous souvenons, notre cuisine a toujours été inspirée par les saveurs de ces pays, mélangeant les ingrédients de manière non traditionnelle, tout en représentant toutes les cultures de manière harmonieuse. En créant SHNOOPI, nous voulions représenter et honorer cet héritage, ainsi que partager avec nos clients les plats que nous avons appris à manger en grandissant.
En fait, le nom SHNOOPI est le surnom de notre nom de famille. Ne soyez donc pas surpris si vous nous entendez nous appeler SHNOOPI dans la cuisine !

WOW! We were impressed with the reviews & we were NOT disappointed. Everything we ordered was better than expected, & super affordable - especially here in old Montreal. The Shnoopi sandwich was the star of the show. Plus a nice vibe & impeccable service. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had lunch at Shnoopi for the first time, & it was an amazing experience! I tried their house special, the Shnoopi Salad, which is a delightful mix of arugula, ,mushrooms,truffles, & shrimp-outstanding in both flavor & taste. To top it off, I enjoyed a smooth & refreshing Americano. The service was exceptional, even while sitting outdoors on their lovely patio in the sun. Overall, a phenomenal experience! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Definitely the best sandwiches we have had on this trip! Absolute gem of a cafe, we sat outside & watched the world go by while we ate. Complimentary iced water & very polite & friendly service. Highly recommend the Shnoopi, Red meatball, camembert & goats cheese sandwiches!!
We are sooo glad we had lunch at Schnoopi! The wait staff were engaging & fun. The sidewalk outdoor eating option was perfect. I ordered the goat cheese sandwich. It was sooo delicious...best sandwich I ever ate. Too bad we didn't have room for the Egyptian rice pudding. Highly recommended!
This is a long review, but it's worth the read. It's honestly local, family-owned places like this that made me fall in love with the city of Montreal. This place is literally amazing. This is why Quebec culture needs to be protected, & we should hope for small businesses like this to thrive. First of all, the sandwiches are of amazing quality. You will find a great selection of tuna, meat, veggie, salads, etc. The tuna with corn is personally my favorite. Second, the service is just unbelievable. Even though it is a quick-bite sandwich shop, the owner is also involved in many high-end venues, which I also love, & he brings that level of service here. I decided to eat on the patio when I got my sandwiches to go, & the staff came over & offered me free drinks on the house, even though they were so busy handling the line. Third, in today's inflationary environment, this place charges very reasonable prices. You will find sandwiches for $15, & they will fill you up. Overall, I highly recommend this place, & we should all support local businesses like this that sell good quality food.
I tried few restaurants in Montreal, this one was the best, very good food, very nice atmosphere & excellent service, I highly recommend the chicken tahini sandwich & the chicken artichoke salad

My friend had suggested the restaurant for me to try, & my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the cozy atmosphere to fresh ingredients, to the creative combinations, it's evident that the chefs at Shnoopi take pride in their craft. I tried the signature Shnoopi seafood sandwich & every bite was a culinary delight. The service was impeccable with the owner very attentive, kind & passionate about ensuring a wonderful dining experience for every guest. Overall, I highly recommend Shnoopi to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Montreal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the brand new restaurant in Montreal called Shnoopi, & I must say, it was an exceptional experience.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality & a welcoming casual atmosphere.
After a long & tiring day of travel, we were having a hard time finding place was handicap accessible. Not being familiar with the area, we were amazed at how many places had at least one or two steps to get into the restaurants. After over a hour of frustration, trying to find somewhere, we stumbled upon a quaint little eatery, called Shnoopi. None of us has ever tried “Egyptian inspired” food & weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we were delighted with the wonderful flavors & freshness of the food.
The staff at Shnoopi went above & beyond to ensure our comfort. They were extremely accommodating, especially when it came to accessibility for my wheelchair. The staff at the restaurant had taken great care to make sure that I was able to move around with ease. The effort they made to accommodate me & my wheelchair. Ltruly made a difference & made me feel valued as a customer.
Now, let's talk about the food. Shnoopi offers a menu loaded with Egyptian & Mediterranean-inspired dishes, & let me tell you, it was a culinary delight. The flavors were vibrant, the presentation was impeccable, & the portions were generous. Each bite was a burst of flavors that transported me to the Mediterranean.
Overall, my experience at Shnoopi was nothing short of amazing. The combination of exceptional food, accommodating staff, & wheelchair accessibility made it a standout dining experience. If you're looking for a taste of Egypt & the Mediterranean in Montreal, Shnoopi is the place to be.
