Tony is amazing manager/waiter! Amazing service hands down! We try as often to go & eat when he's working. ATTENTION Avoid Nick as your waiter at all costs trust me... he can & will ruin your night out if you entertain any type of conversation with him period. We only tried their all you can eat menu so far & can say in terms of szechuan food its tasty & good & for 40$/person you can't go wrong. Parking everywhere clean place & washrooms. It's our all you can eat go to spot in the city!

We had all you can eat menu which is limited to Szechuan at select days of the week for USD 40 per person so they can get rid of their near expired food of the previous week mixing beef & chicken with all good sweet n sour & bbq sauce.....that makes all taste the same....A smart idea better than trashing the food shortly. None of the good stuff in their menu is on the all you can eat limited menu. So, Sushi, pastas, & steaks are paid separately. Food is largely deep fried, lardy & too fatty. The service is somehow slow. The area it is in seems like an industrial area. It was not worth the long drive. I would not go back again or recommend.

I'll start with the positive : the food. The food was excellent & I have to say thank you to the chef. Now let's go to the negative : The service was awful! Busboy who didn't seem to want to be working there. A waiter who was left in charge of a group of 20 on his own plus making sure the tables in the dining room were getting their orders in. Our group sat at the table around 6:50 & received our meals around 9pm. We pretty much had to start serving ourselves by getting the butter/ olive oil & balsamic vinegar because they hadn't been brought over to our tables. The server pretty much forgot about one person's main dish & brought it over only when everyone else had finished eating. Another guest had his order taken wrong but was offered to replace his plate. ( least the waiter can do) All in all, definitely not friendly place for groups. I'm not sure what else could have gone wrong. Meal was definitely good but after the whole experience, impossible to enjoy.

Love the food every time I eat here!! Any kitchen I'm craving; Sushi, Szechuan or Italian all hit every time. They also always have great playlists if you come with friends or family it's always a good time. Server Anthony always gives us great service !

L'expérience était bien dans l'ensemble, mais était donné que c'était la période des fêtes c'était un peu bruyant à cause des partys de bureau, c'est compréhensible, mais la musique était trop forte & on avait de la misère à s'entendre & de se parler. À la fin du repas l'attente a été vraiment longue pour avoir la facture. Le serveur est passé à maintes reprises à côté de nous sans tenir compte de nous, sinon au début son service était vraiment excellent.

The food & service is excellent but the music is too loud & people are talking louder so they can hear themselves. We ask gently to lower the music & it was nicer after.

Poor quality & not fresh food, overpriced & rude & arrogant waiters. They change their prices during the night. Do not recommend. Stay away, there is much better restaurants in Montreal.

Very disappointed in Shekz; first thing is that we had to wait 15 minutes just to get menus, they said they didn't have enough (the place was only half full), how could a restaurant not have enough menus for every seat Then once we got them we were being rushed to order!
Two separate waiters offered us bread on two occasions, which we accepted yet they never brought until we flagged our waited down & asked for it. That took about 20 minutes.
Our food finally arrives (after about an hour), & it was good, not great.
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated & they had a singer/guitarist offering nice music....that is until the owners friends came in & sat nearby; the owner was chatting very loudly with them & the curse words were coming out non-stop....did not help with the atmosphere & displayed a lack of class from the owner.
The wait staff was very nice & friendly, it wasn't their fault that the food was slow.
Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros at Shekz, therefore I will not be returning.

First time at this restaurant & last time. We were a party of 40, the service was so slow we got there at 7 & only started to eat at 9:45,. The waiter keept asking us what we had ordered at least 4 times. Some guests had order some drinks at the begining & toward the middle of the evening the waiter came around to ask who ordered what drinks, they had lost the drinks order. We finally walked out at midnight. When we went to pay, it took forever. The food was fair & not that warm. Very pricey, they do not accomidate to kids, finally got a plate of chicken knuggets 6 pieces & some fries for $22.

Ce fut ma première fois à ce restaurant & je n'y retournerais pas. Malheureusement, la nourriture n'avait pas de gout & pour ce que nous avons payé, c'était dispendieux. Le service par exemple était excellent!
