I came here with my family for the chicken charsi karahi & it was l delicious. Easily the best Pakistani food we've had in Montreal. Everything was full of flavor, & the experience was great overall. The owner is soo friendly 🥰
Very good restaurant, serves amazingly tasting Pakistani foods & lovely costumer service along with the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who are looking for a friendly & tasty experience.
We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The lamb biryani was incredibly flavorful, perfectly spiced, & cooked to perfection. The chicken curry was rich, comforting, & absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh & crunchy, which made everything even better & paired perfectly with the dishes.
You can really taste the authenticity & care in every bite. The service was also very warm & welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best Pakistani meals we've had, we'll be coming back for sure!
Had an amazing experience at Shaandar Cuisine during my recent visit to Montreal. The owner was incredibly kind & welcoming, constantly checking in to make sure everything was good & that we were enjoying the food.
The food genuinely reminded me of back home, full of flavour & comfort. I rarely go out for Pakistani/Indian food, but this is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to on my next visit to Montreal.
My wife & I were craving pakistani food. We googled & saw Shandaar restaurant. It was one of best pakistani food I've ever eaten. The food, service, environnement, everything was perfect. The owner had the biggest smile. Lovely restaurant to come with family or in couple!
Excellent pakistani food no one has in canada feels i am sitting & eating me in pakistan shandar cuisine you guys deserve 5 star all the way thanks for nice food & great taste stay blessed
We visited this Pakistani restaurant for the first time today, & wow 😍 what an experience! Every dish we tried felt like a little trip back home (my husband is Pakistani). The paya, saag, biryani, & kebab were packed with authentic flavours that tasted slow?cooked, carefully seasoned, & made with real love. You can tell the kitchen knows exactly what they're doing 🥰
& the chai… it had that comforting, homey warmth that instantly makes you slow down & enjoy the moment. Rich, aromatic, & perfectly balanced (now that we are transitioning from winter to spring, just the perfect blend!) 👌
From the food to the atmosphere, everything felt genuine & welcoming. Definitely worth the drive, & absolutely a place we'll be returning to.
Highly recommended for anyone craving true Pakistani flavours!
We tried their chicken karahi & beef seekh kebab.
Everything was authentic, freshly made & delicious.
We drove 40 minutes from Montreal downtown during rush hour & were not disappointed at all.
Customer service was great & so was the food.
For sure an authentic Pakistani restaurant.
Shandaar Cuisine is a must-visit for authentic Pakistani comfort food. The Peshawari Karahi was spectacular, so was their Bihari kebab - pair it with their Naan, was the perfect balance
Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, & truly homemade. Highly recommended for anyone craving a high-quality meal!
Must visit! Very nice & decent Pakistani cuisine. If you are tired of food colour, excessive amount of unnecessary spices this place is for you.
The staff is very friendly & caring.
I was actually craving a taste of home last night, & let me tell you, this place hit the spot in the best way possible.
Walking in, we were greeted with this amazing warmth. It wasn't just a'hello', it felt genuine. But the real star of the show was Miss Uzma. She has this way of making you feel like you're the most important person in the room. We were a little unsure about what to order, & she patiently walked us through the menu. You can tell she's not just doing a job. She checked on us throughout the meal, not in an intrusive way, but just to make sure we were loving it. She even remembered we'd asked for extra raita without us having to ask twice. That kind of care is rare.
Honestly, it was more than a dinner, it was an experience. Miss Uzma has built something special with her team, & their collective hospitality is just as memorable as the incredible food. If you're in Montreal & looking for not just a meal, but a taste of real Pakistani hospitality & flavor, this is 100% the spot.
I tried the beef paya & I must say it was the best Pakistani dish I tried in Montreal…it was full of flavours….loved it & will definitely comeback!!!!
We had a great experience at Shandar Karahi. We ordered white karahi, lamb biryani, & chicken tikka, & everything was delicious. The white karahi was rich & creamy, the lamb biryani was flavorful & perfectly cooked, & the chicken tikka was juicy & well seasoned. Portions were good & the food was served hot & fresh. Overall, very tasty food & worth visiting. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Pakistani/Indian cuisine! 😊
We tried the boneless karahi, Lahori channay, & tea, & everything was outstanding. The boneless karahi was rich, perfectly spiced, & cooked just right - full of authentic flavour & not greasy at all. The Lahori channay were delicious, hearty, & tasted just like traditional home-style cooking.
To finish, we had their tea, which was strong, aromatic, & the perfect ending to a satisfying meal.
Great food, authentic taste, & a warm atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll be visiting again & highly recommend to anyone looking for real Pakistani flavours in Montréal
I absolutely loved the food. The chicken karahi was spiced to perfection, the garlic naan was fresh & crispy, & the chicken biryani was hearty & delicious. Everything paired perfectly with the cilantro chutney. Also, the food was cooked to order. However, the chicken karahi had a lot of small bone fragments hidden in the sauce, so we had to be very careful while eating. Some special care should be taken while cutting the chicken to avoid this.
The service was great (although only available in English). Someone came in & demanded a shish taouk with tzatziki, but the waiter was very patient & polite, & suggested a Pakistani dish close to that. Very professional.
All in all, it was a great experience!
