Came from out of town, was looking for a kid friendly , with gluten free options & hit the jackpot pot. Parking was hard to find around & almost didn't go & I'm so glad we did!!! We arrived at 3:45 & didn't realize they closed at 4, but they still welcomed us right in. Not only was the service amazing, the food is INCREDIBLE. Very good! I wish I got pictures to take but we ate it all so quickly!

I just came from breakfast at shack attack & I am very surprised they only received 4 stars! The service was excellent & were taken care of as son as we sat down. I loved the ambiance that makes you feel like you're on a beach & all the cute details in the decor. The brunch was great, the portions are good but not too much & I loved the selections of different breads to choose from. They even had keto options on the menu as well as gluten free etc! Great place for breaky. Highly recommend!

Magnifique endroit! La Californie au coeur de Montréal! ♥️ Cuisine délicieuse avec plusieurs options végétaliennes. Parfait pour tous. Ambiance décontractée, très grand & décorations WOW! Les serveurs sont très gentils, ils donnent leur maximum pour aider les clients, mais il arrive quelque fois qu'il y ait des malentendus. Malgré tout, nous avons adoré !
Great service, very nice restaurant, the menu is pretty diverse & it's nice that they offer vegan & keto options. We had a great meal, I literally have nothing bad to say bout this place.
On a essayer le restaurant grand mere poule. Les plus: -Bonne diversité au niveau des plats -la déco est bien. -bien située -Options Keto -Lait vegan -Staff souriant & enthousiaste Les moins: -le repas ( déjeuner) étais juste "correct" -espace très compacte. -C'est très bruyant, attention pour ceux sensible au son. -les chaises en bois aux tables sont très inconfortables(peux-etre mettre un cousin?) -Service très lent, on a passer plus de temps a attendre (pour commander & pour payer) qu'à manger. -Le rapport qualité prix n'étais pas la pour nous, nous sommes des habitués du restaurant "La Delithèque" un peu plus loins sur la rue Iberville. Finallement -Je recommanderais si vous suivez une diete Keto/ ne voulez pas vous déplacer plus loin. Il y a de meilleures options à quelques minutes (Délithèque/Oeuf Alpha)
First time coming back here since the restaurant changed to Shack Attakk. It's a very popular place. Even though it's a large restaurant, it is always full. You have to line up to get in for brunch. The decor reminds me of a beach restaurant. There are videos of sharks on the wall. Service was a bit disappointing. We were seated over 15min before someone came to offer us coffee. They were quite disorganized but maybe they were understaffed. I found the prices quite high for a breakfast place. I know prices have been soaring since COVID. Most options were 20-24$. I just had the classic egg with sausages. I liked the presentation of my plate & the potatoes were good. Nothing to complain about.

Extensive KETO / Low carb, vegan & regular options; they have three complete menus. I mean Keto poutine!? Very good. Go there for excellent brunch, burgers & sandwiches. Options are inventive too. It's now a go to place for me.
Belle ambiance de bord de mer, service toujours efficace & agréable. Les déjeuners sont diversifiés & délicieux. Plusieurs options véganes & plein de bénédictine au menu. Je recommande !
La crémerie est super au niveau du service & des options vegan & keto! Cependant, mon conjoint & moi avons été très malade suite à la consommation d’une crème molle keto & chocolat vegan. 15 minutes après l’avoir mangé on a été malade durant 4h. Intoxication à une bactérie.
J’ai laissé un message sur le répondeur, en espérant que d’autres ne vivent pas cela & je n’ai pas eu de retour de la place.
Beau restaurant, bonne ambiance, très bon service, beaucoup d'options au menu nourriture (du moins, au menu du soir) & breuvages. Je recommande fortement !

This is our family's favourite breakfast spot. Our son even asks for the ''restaurant with the chicken''.
Love the variety, the gluten-free options & quality of the food (not too salty & greasy like some other restaurants). Also, you don't feel rushed when you go, although service isn't always consistent.
If I had one suggestion to the owners, it would be to include the coffee in the price of the dishes….$2.25 extra for a regular coffee just seems too much.
Nous sommes venu une vingtaine de fois dans ce restaurant, pour une question pratique géographiquement, car l'inconstance des portions, l'absence de service, vont nous faire aller ailleurs. Il vous faut attendre votre café, si vous avez la chance de croiser le regard froid de certaines serveuses hermétiques au sens du commerce & cela gâche vraiment un moment de la fin de semaine qui ce veut être agréable.
Nous sommes très déçu au fil des mois par ce qui caractérise ce lieu: l'INCONSTANCE, car le prix lui reste ferme & pour un déjeuner à 30$ pour 2, on ce doit d'attendre quelque chose de bien.Pour résumer, ils sont capables du meilleurs comme du pire, avec une répétition pour cette seconde option.
