Loved the service & the vibes. This is an ideal summer spot for anyone wandering Old Port & looking for a bite to eat. Good, fresh seafood is hard to come by in Montreal, but this place delivered.

Most amazing fish & chips & incredible shrimp tacos. Awesome waitress!
BUT SO MANY TINY MICE DARTING AROUND ON THE PATIO UNDER TABLES. We pointed them out to staff & were told it is happening to all of the restaurants there together …& that they are not allowed to trap or kill them without a fee. Ugh.

Amazing restaurant, definitely a must try when you're in old the old port. The service was great even though we were an enormous group!
The food was fresh & authentic, special thanks to Rob, he did a great job with the menu.
I 100% recommend the Paella 🥘 it was delicious, we also had a pitcher of virgin Margarita which was delicious.
Also whomever was responsible for the playlist, great job !!

We came across this restaurant in September 2025 on our first night in Old Montreal. We ate outside on a beautiful evening close to closing time. The food was very good, the drinks were good, the service was very slow. The server was kind & polite, we just didn't see much of her once we received our food. We loved the food & view, so we would definitely go back.

Delicious food with excellent service. The restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 30 with various dietary restrictions. The food options & atmosphere was excellent.

We were part of a big group, & a couple of us came really late, Seasalt was over the top accomodating & we got our food in no time once we were seated.
the seafood paella was delicious, & the seared scallop appetizer is out of the world.
The dessart especially the bignet/donut with ducle deleche are just out of this world.

Had an amazing dining experience at Sea Salt! The virgin mojito was refreshing, the steak was cooked to perfection, & the burrata was creamy & delicious. But the real showstopper was the brownie - decadent & rich! Can't wait to come back & try more of their menu. Visiting from Toronto for a work offsite & one do the best restaurants in Montreal. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!!

La nourriture était excellente : le Smash Burger était délicieux & généreux en portion. On a aussi profité de leur spécial huîtres à 1 $. Le Chablis que nous avons pris était vraiment bon

Seafood was amazing. Caesar salad was just okay but the croutons yummy. Amanda was such an amazing waitress! Really gave the experience an amazing vibe. Really nice to sit outside. Would definitely go back!

The food was at our table by 10 minutes & the food was excellent. The real amazing part of the restaurant was how exquisite the bathroom 5/5. Overall amazing experience.

The Landshark beer along with 2 other beers on a list of 5 wasn't available & the server acknowledged he should have lead with that. Asked if the fish was freshly battered & was told Yes it was - must have been battered by Captain Highliner because it def hasn't been battered in the restaurant. The fries were mediocre & over seasoned. The other diner's meal was similar in quality. Felt like a food court meal. Server was pleasant, hostess didn't care if we came in or not.

Le plateau de fruits de mer chaud était succulent! Homard cuit à la perfection, pieuvre tendre, crevettes géantes, pétoncles, calmar frits! Un vrai délice! Avec un service impeccable!
