Frozen crust. Once out of oven, it tastes like overcooked bread. I love pizza crust & barely ate it.
Pasta was probably frozen too. Got a star because the tomatoe sauce on both the pizza & pasta was good. Also, chairs are comfortable.
Price of a plate is the same as if I would have eaten at a sit down (not fast food/order at the counter) restaurant. Will never go back. My husband & I feel like we got ripped off.
We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday at Sapori Il Giretto, & it couldn't have been more special. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed & cared for. The food was absolutely incredible-every bite was full of authentic flavor & made with love. The service was beyond impeccable; the staff treated us amazingly & paid attention to every little detail to make the event unforgettable. Seeing my dad so happy & enjoying such a beautiful experience meant the world to us. Thank you to the entire team for making this milestone celebration truly perfect. We'll cherish this memory forever! A special thank you to Junior!

Il Giretto has always been our family's go-to spot whenever we want to eat like we're back in Italy, it's truly the best. The food, the atmosphere… it always feels like home.
So when it came time to plan our company Christmas party, there was zero doubt: Il Giretto had to be the place.
From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Junior & his entire team were incredible, so attentive, so welcoming. & the food… INSANE. The quality, the flavors, the presentation…every dish was a full WOW moment.
We were spoiled from the moment we walked in, & our employees couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it!

Just hosted my Perfect Pair engagement party at Il Giretto & it was absolutely incredible! The staff was amazing-so fun, attentive, & genuinely excited to bring my vision to life. They helped create a custom pear martini as our signature drink, which was such a special touch!
The food was delivered & the music was perfect. I couldn't have imagined it going any better. Truly so impressed-highly recommend hosting your event here!
We had our private event here & it was incredible! The food was unbelievable, the service was outstanding, & the whole place just had such a great vibe. Our event was a total success - everyone loved it & said they'll be coming back. We'll definitely be telling everyone that this spot is a must-try! Was lured in, & my hopes were high.
Second-Cup style ambiance café 😕
Everyone in my party was deceived with the food.
Sandwiches are nothing special. Lacking in ingredients. Hamburger-like bread.
The calabrese is basically a big sausage hamburger, with roasted pepper, mayo, & dry bread! That's it.
Sadly first & last time.
There are much better sandwiches in Laval, especially for the price.
Had an amazing experience at Il Giretto! The food was absolutely delicious - the beef ribs were incredibly tender & melted in my mouth, & the chicken côtelettes & calamari were excellent. The service was top-notch; the waitresses were attentive & made sure we never missed a thing, really making us feel at home.
A big shout-out to Junior, the owner, for his warm hospitality & friendly personality. You can really feel the passion & care in both the food & the service. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!
Where to even begin! We organized our engagement party at Sapori Il Giretto & it surpassed our expectations. From the moment we got in touch up until the party ended, everything was fantastic. Easy communication, great menu suggestions, dealing with last minute changes, the set up, the outstanding service, the incredible food, 5 stars all around. Big shout out to Junior who was the main contact person & who helped us organize the event. He always went above & beyond to make sure our vision came to life & tried to help make every step stress-free for us. The whole staff was incredible & really gave outstanding service. The FOOD, which is the most important part, was insane. The flavors, the presentation, the portions, all so so good (So good that we forgot to take pictures before digging in lol!). Guests couldn't stop raving about the food & service. The place is so cute, extremely charming. Honestly, nothing but amazing things to say. You will not be disappointed choosing this place for any event or catering! Would 100% recommend & 100% rebook any event here. Thank you guys for everything! 10/10!
Got the L'Antipasto sandwich, & for 18$ the grilled vegetables seemed lackluster at best. It was yummy vegetables tossed in some olive oil, placed between bread. There was no sauce, no chilli oil, no cheese, no sliced meat. If meant to be a vegan option, at least add some chilli oil. The bread was dry, & any form of sauce would have elevated the flavor.
For grilled veggies on bread, it was delicious. For an 18$ sandwich, it was disappointing & underwhelming, not to mention incredibly overpriced.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is'whitewashed Italian,' quoted from my Italian boyfriend. It could have been great, but settled for okay.
