Review Summary

Reviews consistently praise Sandwicherie Sue for fresh, generous banh mi with a crisp crust and balanced fillings such as pork char siu, chicken banh mi, or a traditional beef option, all accented by pickled carrots and radish, hoisin and a spicy mayo that many find addictive. The sandwiches are described as flavorful, juicy, and satisfying, with reviewers noting tender meat and well balanced textures. Fresh ingredients and authentic Vietnamese flavors stand out, and the Vietnamese coffee is mentioned as on point, though a few diners find it overpriced or not fully filled. Service is frequently described as friendly and efficient, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and solid value given generous portions. The new location is welcomed as a positive addition in the Dix area and on the south shore, with many saying this is among the best banh mi options in town, while a minority feel the bread could be crisper or the price point less favorable. Overall, Sandwicherie Sue comes across as a reliable go-to for tasty, well made Vietnamese sandwiches with room for improvement in bread texture and price balance.

Absolutely loved my char siu pork sandwich.
The sauce is perfection. The pork was tender & flavourful. Highly recommend trying this spot out.🥖

Advertised a 50% off promotion for the grand opening; they didn't have any left despite advertising it's available until 9PM. They didn't offer anything or recommended any else, service was cold & unwelcoming.

Store was empty at 3PM on opening weekend, atmosphere was dead.

Amazing sandwiches with amazing service.

I can't believe people be giving 1 star because there was no more promotional sandwiches.

They have other selections to choose from, all of the sandwiches are good!!!

I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy a tasty Banh Mi & an amazing Vietnamese coffee.

Don't be fooled with the 1 star review, they're definitely a 5 star !!! Try before you judge !

One of the best Vietnamese sandwiches in town. From the first bite to the last, it was really flavourful, the bread is soft I. The inside & crunchy on the outside.

Their Vietnamese coffee was just wow ! Best in town !

Highly recommended!!!

We originally came for the promo but it was sold out. We still ordered a pork (recommended by the cashier whom was nice) & a beef banh mi, as well as the dessert. When we came home, we realized they had given us chicken & pork instead, which was disappointing as the chicken one is also cheaper than the beef.

The chicken banh mi was okay, but the pork one was good. They were generous with the meat, but the banh mis are definitely on the pricier side. The dessert was good. I'd be curious about the others, but I am disappointed by the mistake & having overpaid.
