L'endroit est magnifique. La nourriture est excellente & le service courtois & efficace parcontre l'ambiance n'y était pas pcq le resto était vide. J'y retournerais par contre sans hésitation.
Même propriétaire que chez India Rosa plateau Mont-Royal, mais clairement pas le même niveau du tout! La nourriture est très moyenne, alors si vous recherchez de la nourriture Indienne de haute qualité, vaut mieux mettre tous ses jetons chez India Rosa, carrément. Sinon, ils proposent également un menu Italien, mais honnêtement, quand un restaurant ne se spécialise pas, c'est souvent médiocre. De plus, c'est très, très bruyant chez Sandhu. Le seul truc pratique, c'est le service avec Uber eats, mais avant de mettre mes sous là, au prix que ça coûte aujourd'hui, je vais assurément rechercher une autre expérience gustative. Désolée les gars, rien de personnel, mais c'est mon opinion!
La cuisine indienne est EXCELLENTE. Le menu italien est un peu plus ordinaire. Tout est délicieux, les prix sont raisonnables, sans compter que la livraison est rapide & INDÉPENDANTE de Doordash/UberEat. Je recommande.
So I ordered a butter chicken & a chicken korma. Let's give them what they deserve. The meat is one of the most of not the most tender I had with Indian curry. The butter chicken sauce is pretty much the same as tomato soup with piece of chicken, no taste of butter whatsoever. We just throwed it away. The chicken korma, the sauce is fine, it's up to you to decide. It's not bad, itsnnot the best. It's fair. The rice... I like cumin, but now we can't even taste the basmati rice, the cumin overpowered everything else.
Un serveur qui a l'air bête & surtout qui ne comprend pad un mot de français! J'ai donc reçu du poulet aux asperges au lieu du veau Saltimbocca! Trop tard pour changer car nous devions quitter tôt. La moindre des choses c'est qu'un serveur uniquement anglophone soit au moins capable de comprendre la BASE soit le choix de menu des clients en FRANÇAIS qui est, en passant, la langue officielle du Québec. C'est un manque de respect total de tous les francophones du quartier du Plateau dont la majorité est francophone. En plus, j'avais demande des pâtes à l'ail au lieu de tomates. Le serveur n'a rien compris alors j'ai reçu des pâtes rosées...avec un plat que je n'avais pas commandé. Bravo!
Nous commandons souvent le combo végé (choix du chef, pour deux personnes) & les plats sont toujours savoureux. Les portions sont généreuses, mais pas excessives. Le service de livraison est très efficace & les livreurs sont sympathiques. Bref, notre adresse chouchou pour satisfaire nos envies de bouffe indienne.

We've been ordering almost weekly from Sandhu for the past 7 years & absolutely love it. All the indian dishes we have tried from them were very good, although we keep going back to the Tikka Tandoori chicken which is our absolute favourite (the dipping sauce that comes with it is incredible). Portions are perfect in my opinion. Naans are very good too, especially considering the fact that by the time they are delivered to us, they're not fresh out of the oven anymore. Still, they're warm & pillowy, very tasty (& perfect with that sauce!!).
On the italian side, pizzas are very good too, as well as the scallopines. The only "meh" thing is the bread that comes with them, it's some kind of pretty dry industrial roll & really not on par with everything else.
I can't rate the service or atmosphere because we've never actually been to the restaurant, although we've been saying we should really try it sometime!
