Great basement cocktail bar. Grab a drink, peruse their selection of vinyl, & ask the staff to add your selection to the queue.

Note that the entrance is on Rue de la Commune. For some reason Maps wanted me to pull a platform 9 3/4's from Rue de la Capitale.

Kuini was amazing. Quite literally the best server & was so social with us!! The vibes were amazing & they let us pick song recommendations making the atmosphere 10x times better! Will for sure be back soon.

Come for cocktails, stay for the excellent vibes. It's chill, it's relaxing & just overall a great place to unwind. Only knocking off a point for a somewhat limited menu, but it's a definitely got a quality over quantity thing going for it.

We had a wonderful time at Sample! It was our first stop upon landing in Montreal, & I'm sure we will swing by again before we leave. Our bartenders were fabulous, & gave us an extensive list of bars & restaurants to check out on our trip. Such an amazingly kind gesture, especially since they were very busy with other customers at the same time. Great vibes, great drinks, great music. Highly recommend!
