LOVE their dumplings, specially the fried ones. Always sooo fresh. Service is fast & they are really nice. Will keep coming back & bring my friends along
I go here all the time after university when I don't have a dinner or I wanna hang out with a friend. Super affordable & well situated on a quiet street. Food is great & super affordable, you can eat for under 20$ no problem. I usually take the wonton soup & sweet pork xiao long bao, the fried dumplings are very good aswell. Food is served insanely quickly & the staff is super sweet. I highly recommend to students near the udem campus, way better & cheaper than the cafeteria.

If you want to get yummy soup dumplings this is the spot! I recommend shrimp & coriander & fried beef & curry dumplings. They are so damn good. This location is also the best out of all the others I've been too. They are consistent & fast as heck! It's also usually a lot less busy & cleaner than the other locations. I love it this is my comfort food spot in uptown CDN!!
Very good place for dumplings. We had both fried & steamed. Pork & cabbage & pork with shrimp scallops. If you're around, go & the prices are respectable. Also they sale beer & wine. Cheers
The dumplings are amazing. There's a good selection of different flavors. I personally recommend the Streamed dumplings & not the pan fried one not because thay are not good its because the steamed one are more juicy. Overall great place i will come back for sure.
Weekday Wednesday July 24th 2024 at 2pm Underwhelming experience maybe they were having an off day because I used to swear by these dumplings of being the best in town Usually I would consider Sammi Soups even this location to have the best soup dumplings in the city The shrimp dumplings seem to have been blended & mashed, there were no actual visible chunks of whole or partial halved shrimp pieces like they used to The wrapper of the dumpling from beneathe I am unsure if it was just ovvercooked or too thin, but the broth did not hold in the dumpling at all, for all the steamed soup dumplings that we had. Curry beef dumplings fried are still really good! Peanut butter noodles was lacking sauce tasteless than usual Now for service, There were 4 staff women upon us entering, it was pretty empty (about 4 other customers when we arrived & 6 other customers just about to pack up ). They sat us down. Not long after I was trying to get their attention to take down our order. In that span of time, I saw them gathering around the cash talking to each other, then they went to clean & sort tables. I was thinking maybe they are rushing for a large reservation. No large reservation came after (4 or 5 new customers). In between they were also packing for what appeared to be some take out orders. So we were patient. Food came quickly after our order was taken. But I had to come up to them to tell them "we are ready when you are ready" to take down our order No staff came to the table after to check in on us at all. It was nice that they offered to help pack up our take out though after I got up for some containers. Again, the place was practically empty so I think there could have been better service. Did I still tip? 15% yes. They were present & did their job enough when Id finally go up to them to request for things for the most part, eventually (other tasks seem to have preceded serving a customer so I patiently waited. & there were a few moments when I would look directly at them but then I was appeared to be ignored). & while the food is not the same as it used to be, it was not bad either. Im nice though, I am pretty certain other customers towards the performance of the servers would have treated this situation differently as they appeared innatentive/disorganized or simply having no sense of urgency (not everybody needs to be cleaning & sorting tables at the same time especially when there are other clean tables vacant, all while while a customer waits for their order to be taken). Please take precaution of the soup dumpling wrapper I dont know what happened but the soup was all seeping out way too easily). & I think shrimp dumplings are better off with some shrimp whole or halves in there as opposed to just what appeared as a mushed up shrimp mixture I am confident that this was just an off day for them & that the next time the quality will be on point again. We all have off days.

I went with my girlfriend. Right off the bat, this place is not a restaurant, it is a takeout with a few tables. No matter. We sat down & waited for our waitress. Service was slow from the get-go. We order steamed dumplings & fried ones. We waited around 30mins to get them, when other tables got their order in 10mins. It would be no worries if this was a packed restaurant, except it wasn't - we were one of 3 tables seated. Food gets here. You know the grocery store dumplings? I would say they were comparable. Less greasy, but comparable. I got the chicken cabbage, & I am pretty sure there was absolutely no cabbage in it. My girlfriend got xiao long bao, & the filling was unseasoned, the soup was fatty. We eat & wait 20 mins for someone to come pick up our plates, you know, as one expects when eating in a restaurant. An employee comes to give food to people who arrived after we got our food. Looks at us, doesn't bother asking us if we were done. I just got up, paid for our food at the counter & we left. Terrible service, beyond-average unseasoned food. This was one of my most disappointing experiences eating out in Montreal. The Sammi in Chinatown is uber-busy, which is why one would understand having to pay at the counter. But we were just a few tables seated. I'll get my dumplings frozen from metro next time. Not worth it.
We stumbled upon this place on our way to another restaurant. We decided to eat here as my girlfriend heard about this place but at another location. So we decided to try it out & see what the hype was all about. We ordered the steamed pork dumpling & fried shrimp bumping with each a wonton shrimp soup. The food was good but we weren't wowed. Next time we said we would switch it up & try doing half & half of other dumplings to try basically all of them & to see what we like the best. The wonton soup here is a winner.
Fav dumpling restaurant in mtl. I def prefer the steamed to fried dumplings but we tried the fried & they were still good. Chili oil is so good, & the food for both of us came in less than 10min after we ordered & was hot! Staff were nice & efficient, the service was so fast & the restaurant was full but only 2 cooks & 1 staff were there. They were great.
