Sammi & Soupe Dumpling se démarque par des dumplings vapeur et xiao long bao frais et savoureux, avec un bouillon riche qui éclate en bouche, une pâte fine mais résistante et des garnitures juteuses et bien assaisonnées. Le choix est varié: porc et chou, agneau et coriandre, crevettes et coriandre, crabe et porc, boeuf teriyaki, poulet et champignon, sans oublier des desserts au chocolat qui séduisent les gourmands. Le restaurant offre une ambiance agréable et intime avec un décor moderne, et les plats arrivent en portions généreuses à un prix raisonnable, souvent accompagnés d’un thé délicieusement parfumé. Le service est généralement chaleureux et efficace, l’accueil est sympathique et la qualité reste au rendez-vous, ce qui donne envie de revenir régulièrement. The food was ok The service was extremely slow. We ordered at 7:30 & didn't get anything before 8pm. The place was not that full It was for a To go order of a single item. No reason why it would take so long. 6 people that came after us get seated & served before we even received our to go meal. The server that took out order was quite rude. Honestly a bit disappointed. Never had this at this location before
Had lunch with the family, ate well for under $50 for 4, with shared dishes. The traditional soup dumplings were exquisite & tasteful. The cold peanut butter noodles were a great surprise, on a warm summer day. Might become a staple destination for us!
Have gotten dumplings from this location for takeout & dine in multiple times & the food is always amazing! Great value for the price as well. I recommend the hot & sour soup, mapo tofu, & the sweet pork dumplings. Be warned, when it's busy, the service is not great (understandably). Excellent service when it's not jam packed, though!

Je suis venu ici pour une fête d'anniversaire. Nous sommes venus à l'improviste, mais il manquait de place. Nous avons laissé notre numéro pour avoir une table. L'équipe nous a rappelé très rapidement. C'était très cool de leur part. Nous avons très bien mangé & les "dumpling" étaient bons. On était vraiment surpris. Merci, on reviendra.
Food was pretty good. Although not hot. Soup dumplings were warm. Appreciated how they fixed their mistake. They messed up my original order, came with something I didn't want (& had canceled at the time or ordering)... but they still came out with what I didn't want. When I told them that's not what I ordered & that I had ordered the XLB instead, they didn't correct it. They took away the dumplings (that they had charged me for) & did not give me the XLB that I had actually ordered. When I asked about the XLB, they rectified the problem & ate the cost of the difference. Appreciated.
I was looking forward to trying this dumping restaurant. But the minute I walked in I felt that the air conditioning was not strong enough. Luckily the table I was sat at was right below the vent. So it was tolerable but not ideal. The Xiao Long Bao was juicy & as it should be. However the wrapping was too thick. It was also missing taste just as the filling was missing taste. The lab fried ones were a bit better. But the wrapping was a little hard after being pan fried. Probably because the wrapping is too thick. I did really enjoy the peanut butter noodles. The portions are good for the price though. The service was not attentive enough. I had to ask them to clear stuff off the table every time. I also had to ask to get more water. I would go back, but only for the peanut butter noodles.
We recently visited Sammi Soupe Dumpling & were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The dumplings were amazing-particularly the classic pork & pork coriander. The quality is exceptional for the price, which we found to be very reasonable. However, the service left something to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we experienced a lack of attention from the staff. They were barely at our table & the service was quite slow. Additionally, we were disappointed that they didn't offer take-out cups for the tea. Overall, a great place for dumplings but the service could use some improvement.
Brand new location, clean & modern. The quality of food is the same as downtown Montreal. The staff is super friendly. We love & recommend the Classic Juicy Pork, & the Pork, Shrimp & Scallop steamed dumplings. For fried dumplings, we love the Pork & Cabbage or Shrimp & Cabbage. We tried the special with Sea Urchin, but the flavor of the Sea Urchin in the dumpling was not outstanding for us.

Best dumplings place in montreal/south shore if anyone disagrees your opinion doesnt matter you never had good dumplings . newer location new staff so sometime the service is going to be slow(especially if its PACKED) but youll receive fresh delicious dumpling & its totally worth the wait
Incroyable! J'ai adoré tout de cet endroit. Le staff était efficace & courtois. La nourriture était excellente, surtout les concombres épicés ça s'était mon coup de coeur. L'endroit est bien situé avec beaucoup de place donc très peu d'attente pour y rentrer!
Really great soup dumplings & fried dumplings. My favourites are the lamb & coriander & the pork, shrimp & scallop! The classic pork is always a great option too. Been here a couple of times & the service has always been extremely slow. You really need to flag a waiter or walk up to the front to get your order. Would come here more often if the service improves. Food is excellent though!
