It was not only authentic but also affordable. The staff were exceptional, with our servers going above & beyond to make our visit memorable. We loved every moment of it.
This place did not disappoint. The ambiance was perfect for a girls night dinner & my friend & I ordered way too much but didn't feel heavy after. The food was delicious & everything was very fresh. Incredible flavours. My friend loved her cocktail. I loved the fish pomfret. The servers were lovely & helped us with suggestions. They took their time & didn't rush us, letting us decide when we were ready for our next courses. Such a friendly environment - not loud, & authentic cuisine with some modern twists. Would definitely go back!
The food is delectable & authentic. I have tried variety of dishes & all lived beyond expectations. I have tried almost all the indian cusine restaurants in downtown but cafe rutba stands out. The quality is intact every single time you dine throughout the year. The service is top notch. The servers are polite & efficient. The owner/host is kind, considerate & sincere. She will make sure you have a fine dining experience. The ambience is mesmerizing with beautiful seating, lights & great music.
Absolutely loved the place. It's a must visit if you're looking for authentic, tasty & fresh Indian meal, reminds me of my home food, very very tasty. Hospitable servers, great flavours & nice ambience. We went 4 times in a week in Montreal, so you can imagine how much we liked it. Highly recommend it 👍

Such a fun spot for Indian food! Their food tastes authentic & so delicious, the service is warm & cocktails are so innovative. A+ playlist adds to the vibe. Love this place!
The chef is from Odisha & he cooks fabulous fish. Very authentic & mouth watering. We tried the pomfret fry & fish curry. Both were amazing. The fish curry has mustard in it which is a delicacy for Bengali & Odia cuisine. We also lied two drinks: Bengal bay, & Rutba sour. Ask the chef for his speciality & he will provide you with the best dishes.
Definitely a best try Indian restaurant. The moong dal vegan omelette is a great option for people who want to shy away from meat but definitely a high protein substitute. The aloo parantha was very authentic & the closest thing to back home. Our server was very friendly & accommodating.
