After my experience at riverside I understand & agree with the other reviews discussing the attitude of the bouncers towards patrons. When I got to the door they informed me there was a dress code (which I did not see online) & proceeded to roast my outfit before letting me in (which btw many other people were dressed EXACTLY like I was once I got inside). Furthermore the bouncers can overreact, where one of them started touching me because I was getting close to the backside which was closed (I never made any attempt to go there, it was simply the one corner where there was space to stand because the floor was too packed to move). This bouncer was young & seemed inexperienced but generally between the roasts, being mean mugged by the bouncers & the over-corrections the owners should be aware that their bouncers will eventually be a cause of fights at their bar.

Addtitionally, I would have spent more money here but it was so packed I couldn't get to the bar to even order. I don't know why they didn't open up the backside to allow for more movement & people to be less cramped in the space. I would urge the staff to check the regulations for the capacity of their venue as people got literally STUCK in the crowd & could not move.

Expérience extrêmement décevante, l'attente excessivement longue, nous avons attendu 45 minutes à l'extérieur alors qu'à l'intérieur il y avait peu de gens. Très peu de respect pour sa clientèle, c'était la dernière fois que j'y allais.

Ils perdent leurs clients à les faire attendre en fil à l'extérieur, alors que c'est vide à l'intérieur. Nous avons attendu plus de 40 min à la pluie avant de faire demi tour. Ridicule.

What a great spot for summer nightlife in Montreal!! The vibes were ON POINT 👌
The staff were extremely friendly, the atmosphere was 10/10, music was very trendy & the drinks were delicious 😋
This is definitely be the hang out for the rest of the summer !

Very disappointing experience. We reserved during the week a table for 15 people, & even called the same day to confirm, we were told everything was set. When we arrived, our table had been given away to walk-ins. No solution, no alternative, we simply had to leave. For a group of fifteen who planned ahead & did everything right, this is unacceptable. A reservation should mean something.

Mal organisé, employés incompétents & terrible gestion. Nous avions réservé pour un groupe de 15 personnes & à notre arrivée, nous nous sommes fait dire que des walk ins avaient pris la place de nos places réservées. Rien n'a été fait pour nous accommoder. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

Booked a reservation 4 DAYS in advance for my 26th birthday. Called the day of to confirm, they assured me everything was good. We showed up, ready to celebrate… only to be told our table had been given to walk-ins.

& we weren't alone. About 5 other parties were standing there with the exact same story.

No apology, no attempt to make it right, just a shrug & a ruined birthday for six different groups.
