Took my hubby out for his b-day last night. OMG😊. Very cozy ambiance & the pleasant music was at just the right level. The staff treated us like we were family. The service was excellent, never rushed. Very decent wine🍷list. Our octopus 🐙 entree was spot on delish. My husband's porchetta 🐖was amazing. My salmon🦈 actually melted in my mouth. We hadn't been back to this restaurant in 6 years, but we are definitely going back very soon. A little gem of a restaurant in RDP. Compliments to the chef!

We had not been to this restaurant in a very long time & we will be going back soon enough. Absolutely amazing food. Everything was delicious & you can tell they use good ingredients. The service was equally above standards as well as the atmosphere. A true gem in the heart of RDP. Thank you for the great food & experience 😊

Ristorante San Marzano is a rare gem in the east end. From the welcoming atmosphere & staff, to the quality & attention put into each dish by Chef & sous Chef, I always look forward to going'home' again. A must try.

This restaurant is a gem! It's a family-run, authentic Italian place with a great atmosphere/vibe. The owners & their staff were amazingly attentive & super-friendly. We haven't enjoyed a dining experience like this in a long while. Will definitely be going back!

Rediscovered this little restaurant since ownership changed. I was also satisfied before as well. Firstly, the staff was friendly & inviting & you got the feeling that it was a family run business, which was great! They were attentive to customers & the wait time was not long. Food was delicious! Ordered an entree of Calamari (cooked to perfection, not rubbery & very fresh) Then had a pizza (margherita, very flavorful) & the pappardelle with bolognese sauce (pasta was perfectly al dente & the meat sauce melted in your mouth) Unfortunately, we didn't have dessert because we were stuffed & had somewhere to be. I would definitely go back for the food & to encourage this local family business! Awesome food & hospitality! With the lack of restaurants in RDP, I'm happy this one is a gem!

What a gem ! We had an amazing experience there.
The food & the service was excellent.
We had a variety of appetizers, clam linguini, lamb shank , osso bucco, & cod as main dishes .
It was all done to perfection! Thank you for a great

This was a totally hidden gem. Off the beaten path, stylish decor, wonderful staff, & the food was tremendous. The menu, while varied, is not overly large, & the dishes are more...upscale Italian. Wine selection is decent & well suited to the menu. Pricing reflects the quality of the menu & well worth it. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something upscale but away from the usual crowds downtown. We will definitely return!
