Founded in 1960 by brothers Peppino and Federico Corneli, the restaurant continues to uphold the same authentic recipes passed down through generations. A true family business, it is now proudly run by the new generation — Nicola, Pina, and Alex Corneli, together with Chef Joe Nicodemo. Our homemade pasta, hand-crafted by Nonna Donna, remains the heart and soul of our cuisine. And of course, our pizza baked in an oven imported from Italy delivers that traditional taste we’re famous for.

Every time I go there I get welcomed by the amazing staff, they tend to our needs in a professional manner & a shout out to Val she is the best there, if you go ask for her but everyone is great too. Will always go back

Corneli has a great atmosphere, & we really enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace. The drinks were good, the lasagna was highly flavorful, & the Agnello al forno was also delicious! The only minor issue was that we could smell car exhaust once or twice from the street. Aside from that, the food & overall vibe were fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

Really nice Italian restaurant. My friends & I tried the baked Brie with maple syrup & nuts on some toast, it was delicious! I ordered for myself just an easy spaghetti & it was really good. Staff were friendly & the ambiance was nice!
Nous avons adoré notre soiree &
Nos repas! Excellent service
La lasagne est délicieuse & fondante!
Les arancinis sont les meilleurs que j'ai
Mangé! Très bonne qualité , très bon prix!
We ordered two types of pasta, & the pesto pasta was especially delicious. We also ordered an appetizer, which was excellent. The portion sizes were good & satisfying.
I returned to Corneli on a Saturday night at around 7:30 PM & was blown away by the energy! If you want a quiet, intimate dinner, this isn't it! The place was packed to the gills with birthday parties & big families. It's loud, it's bustling, & it's pure Montreal Italian vibes.
The Highlights:
• Service (Much Improved!): Huge shoutout to the staff. Despite every table being full, our waiter was attentive & prompt. I've never seen a team move so fast-they were literally running to keep up, & it worked!
• The Food: We shared the Calamari, Cavatelli, & the Linguine Pescatori (see photo!). Everything was delicious: fresh seafood, perfectly cooked pasta, & the cocktails were also spot on.
• Pro-Tip: You must book a table. We arrived at 7:30 PM & there wasn't a single free seat in the house.
Bottom Line: If you're looking for a high-energy spot for a group dinner or a celebratory night out, Corneli is back on my list. The seafood pasta alone is worth all the noise!
We had another great evening at Corneli Little Italy, but this time it was truly exceptional. Guillaume took care of us & recognized that some of us are regulars, which made the experience feel even more personal.
We always have a great time here & are consistently well served, but that night really stood out. The service was attentive, friendly, & just on point from start to finish.
& the pizzas? ALWAYS amazing. Honestly some of the best, every single time.
