Founded in 1960 by brothers Peppino and Federico Corneli, the restaurant continues to uphold the same authentic recipes passed down through generations. A true family business, it is now proudly run by the new generation — Nicola, Pina, and Alex Corneli, together with Chef Joe Nicodemo. Our homemade pasta, hand-crafted by Nonna Donna, remains the heart and soul of our cuisine. And of course, our pizza baked in an oven imported from Italy delivers that traditional taste we’re famous for.

Had a wonderful supper with the family. The service was quick & the servers were very friendly & attentive. I loved the pasta plate & pizza. It was a great experience. Highly recommend this genuine Italian restaurant.

J'ai eu le plaisir de célébrer l'anniversaire surprise de mon conjoint au Restaurant Corneli & l'expérience a été tout simplement exceptionnelle!
Nous étions un groupe de 45 personnes & malgré l'ampleur de l'événement, le service a été IMPECCABLE du début à la fin : un service rapide, efficace & d'une grande qualité. Les serveurs ont fait preuve d'une flexibilité remarquable, toujours souriants & attentifs à nos besoins. Un merci tout spécial à Zoey qui a su répondre à mes demandes avec une gentillesse hors pair ainsi qu'à ses collègues en soirée du 18 avril pour leur belle énergie tout au long de l'évènement!
La nourriture était excellente, avec plusieurs options de menus de groupe variées. J'ai pu choisir un menu qui convenait parfaitement aux goûts de mes invités & le rapport qualité-prix est tout simplement imbattable.
Je tiens aussi à souligner le professionnalisme lors de la planification avec M. Corneli. Les réponses étaient rapides, claires, & toute l'organisation (tables, places, menu, gâteau) s'est faite avec constance & cohérence, ce qui a grandement facilité les préparatifs.
Je recommande ce restaurant sans aucune hésitation. Je suis extrêmement satisfaite de mon expérience & mes invités m'en parlent encore à quel point ils ont apprécié leur soirée.
We came to Corneli with a large group on a Sunday, & it was packed.
I'd describe it as slightly upscale with basic Italian dishes. The menu is priced quite high.
As a vegetarian or vegan, you can have only pasta, bread & salad. Everything else, even the minestrone, is made with meat or dairy.
The arugula salad (or should I say mountain) is heaped so high on the plate that it's a meal in its own. I'd recommend sharing it. I wish the wait staff had warned me.
Several times an hour, the staff play Italian music & clap as they bring yet another person a birthday cake.
The parking lots get full fast. Expect to have to park in the street.
Food was incredible! Top quality service from all the staff, they were so attentive to our needs & patient with us!! Couldn't ask for better service! I recommend the seafood pizza & the Agnello! So tender & the vegetables were well done & fresh. The cocktails were sooooooo yummy especially the spicy mango margarita. Inexpensive meal & excellent quality. 10/10 would return
Corneli absolutely demolished the competition in Laval ! The quality, precision, & attention to detail are unmatched. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, & top-tier. Hands down the best. Can't recommend them enough. If you want excellence, Corneli Laval is the place to go!
J'ai bien aimé le decor, le stationnement, le service tres cordial & rapide. La nourriture aussi decor bonne portion & tres bon. Le seul hic il y a beaucoup d'echo dans le restaurant au point que ça peut être tres stimulant devoir parler très fort je suis sortie de là avec la gorge irritée 🥵. Mais sinon l'ambiance est festive pour les anniversaires ils font de la musique & tout . Je recommande pour sorties en groupe ou familial. Pas pour un souper calme mais encore c'était pour le long weekend de Paques donc je suis prit être venue ds un moment plus achalandé 🙂

Corneli has honestly become my go-to place for pizza. The moment you walk in, you feel this warm, welcoming vibe - the space is beautiful, cozy, & surprisingly large, with lots of different seating options depending on your mood.
But the real highlight is the pizza. It's consistently amazing - both in quality & price. & the portions? Very generous. I actually eat a lot, but I still end up with 2 or 3 slices left every time 😄
I still remember that first bite… & that feeling hasn't changed. It's one of those places that genuinely makes you happy.
I've tried other pizza spots in Montreal & Laval, but I've often been disappointed, which is why I keep coming back here. Corneli is easily one of the best.
Highly recommended if you're looking for great pizza, big portions, & a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Service A1 du début à la fin, avec Sonia qui était vraiment aux petits soins pour nous. On commence fort avec la focaccia savoureuse 🌶? , suivie de calmars frits croustillants.
L'ambiance est super agréable, vibe animée sans être étouffante, & le service reste rapide même quand le resto est plein, gros point positif surtout avec les enfants.
Côté plats, les portions sont généreuse & intéressante à partager. Nous avons commandé les cavatelli di ricotta fait à la main & la pizza, tout simplement délicieux! Les choix de pâtes dans le menu pour enfants était très bien, même si ma fille a décidé de prendre les nouilles au beurre (qu'elle a adoré haha).
Bref, une expérience 10/10. Je recommande sans hésiter & c'est sûr qu'on revient! 🍕
I visited Cornelli Restaurant in Laval with my wife for Valentine's Day, & it was an absolutely wonderful experience!
The food was delicious - each dish was beautifully presented & full of flavor. The service was attentive & friendly without being intrusive, making our evening feel special & relaxed. The ambiance is cozy, romantic, & perfect for a date night.
The restaurant is very clean & well-organized. The parking lot was a bit limited due to how busy the restaurant was, but it was still manageable.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience & a perfect way to celebrate Valentine's Day. I highly recommend Cornelli Restaurant to anyone looking for great food & a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Laval!

Nourriture excellente, portion généreuses, prix très raisonnables pour le marché.. Rien à dire. Un peu d'attente pour recevoir les plats, mais ça s'explique facilement par un resto plein à ras bord. Je recommande fortement!
We celebrated our family reunion at Restaurant Corneli, & the food was absolutely amazing. The vibe of the restaurant was just as great-warm, stylish, & welcoming. Everything from the atmosphere to the dishes made for a wonderful dining experience.
A big thank you to our server, Jean, who was outstanding. He made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal & truly elevated our experience with his attentive & friendly service.
Not normally a fan of Italian food but this place was incredible. Calamari entre was fresh & not heavily breaded. The main dish of braised lamb with a variety of vegetables was absolutely Devine. Very generous portion & cooked to perfection.
Je recommend L'agneau braisé avec légumes. Toute cuit dans un sauce maison. Un délice. Les amies ont pris des pâtes & pizzas. Tous l'monde est très satisfait. L'ambiance est spectaculaire & confortable. Le seule problème avec ce restaurant (& beaucoup d'autres restaurants d'ailleurs) est le service. Ouf. Une serveuse qui ne sert pas avec un aire bête. Zéro sourire est permis!!! Elle prends nos commandes avec un attitude & deux jeunes garçons viennent nous porter nos plates. Épouvantable. Ça ne vais pas m'empêcher d'y retourner mais c'est malaisant comme service.
