A true family business, it is now proudly run by the new generation — Nicola, Pina, and Alex Corneli, together with Chef Joe Nicodemo. Our homemade pasta, hand-crafted by Nonna Donna, remains the heart and soul of our cuisine. Super restaurant avec sa délicieuse pizza au four à bois est minutieusement inspectée avant d'être servie, la tendre escalope de veau & les goûteuses pâtes. Nous avons adoré notre expérience. Went for dinner with some friends last night. The free pizza/focaccia they serve on the table was dry. I took calamari as an appetizer & I was surprised at how small the portion was for the price, the taste was really good though. My main was a pizza & it was delicious, great sauce & toppings, cooked to perfection, unfortunately my friend's pizza was burnt to a crisp so she threw out all the crust, she was too shy to complain. For dessert I had a cannolo, very good but the ricotta was too fresh & a little runny & quite pricey when you compare the price when purchasing at a pastry. Be prepared to park further away as their parking space is very limited & this includes the reserved lot on the side, very small so we had to park up on the street. What'bothered' us the most is seeing that in this day & age the waitresses at this establishment are still wearing barely there skirt/shorts that practically show off their buttcheeks while the guys are wearing long pants. It's a classy looking place perhaps more appropriate clothing would be better suited…I would go back because I did enjoy the food but probably during a weekday when it's less noisy, it was really loud in there, my ears were buzzing when I left (I am aware this is not the restaurant's fault). Service was slow too but considering how packed the restaurant was, I wasn't really surprised. Our waitress was very nice though.

Adam our waiter was great. Very friendly & excellent service. I ordered the Suprema pizza & it hand a nice undercarriage from their special rotating stone pizza oven. Some flop to it due to extra toppings & extra sauce but the flavor & texture was excellent. One Bite Everyone Knows The Rules. 9.5 rating from me. I couldn't give it a 10 as I still have another 29 options to try at Corneli's. Amazing. Highly recommend & try & get Adam to serve you. He's a super friendly staff member. Thanks for a wonderful lunch.
i had a margherita pizza & a plate of tortellini. everything was amazing. service was good too. the waiter was really nice & accommodating. the music was a bit loud but besides that everything was great. will definitely be going back.
J'ai aimé ma première expérience chez Corneli! Belle ambiance & beau décor! La soupe minestrone, la pizza margherita, le vin pinot grigio & la crème glacée à l'italienne c'était excellent! Merci à Jean pour son professionnalisme, sa gentillesse, sa bonne humeur & nous a offert un super bon service!

Nourriture excellente mais temps d'attente pour recevoir les plats vraiment long, & le restaurant avait moins de 12 clients.
Très très bruyant, musique trop forte & choix musical criard (les paroles les paroles de Dalida, etc). Musique lounge moins forte serait plus appropriée pour pouvoir discuter & s'entendre. & ça irait mieux avec le décor du restaurant plutôt moderne.
Le restaurant est entièrement refait à neuf, décor magnifique.
Il ne reste aucunes traces de l'ancien restaurant La Flamberie qui occupait ce local depuis 30 ans a entièrement disparu.
Service ok.
Les pâtes étaient vraiment fraîches & vraiment très bonnes. De même pour la pizza.
Je ne peux pas croire que le cuisiner qui fait la pizza à une barbe très longue & ne porte pas de filet, & en plus j'ai commandé une pizza & la possibilité de manger un poil de barbe est très probable, pas trop hygiénique.
Great food , great service, however the open concept atmosphere makes it look like a cafeteria. I prefer the St Laurent location . Still ranks as the best pizza in Laval

A nice birthday celebration the 4 March boys
Awesome service great tasting pizza calamari salads pastas veal & seafood
Fast service considering a full house with celebrations
Pennine alla puttanesca (24$): la cuisson des pâtes était parfaite, la généreuse sauce est la meilleure puttanesca que j'ai mangée. On y goûtait les câpres, les anchois & les olives noires.
Pizza quattro fromaggi (26$): cuite dans le grand four à bois, cette pizza facilement partageable à deux personnes était délicieuse. Généreuse en fromage.
Tiramisu (10$): la meilleure recette est celle que je faisais au restaurant Le Planète. Je n'ai jamais réussi à en trouver un qui lui arrivait à la cheville, mais je dois admettre que leur Tiramisu y arrive de tout près. Excellent & généreuse portion.
Ciambelle fritte (11$): le dessert idéal à partager en gang pour les amateurs de Nutella!
SERVICE: Nous sommes arrivées à 17h un vendredi en pensant que nous aurions une table pour deux facilement. Hors, il restait que de la place au bar. Alors, n'hésitez pas à réserver! En ce qui concerne le service, la serveuse était gentille & efficace. Le seul petit bémol est que nous avons dû demander le pain offert voyant que les autres clients en recevait.
AMBIANCE: c'est un beau restaurant tout neuf (suite à la fermeture de La Flamberie). C'est très lumineux, la déco est belle, l'armoire à vin vitrée au centre donne du cachet. Cependant, c'est vraiment, mais vraiment bruyant. Si j'étais eux, j'investirais dans des rideaux épais qui absorbent le son ainsi que d'autres matériaux qui agisse en ce sens. Nous avions de la difficulté à avoir une conversation à deux & même d'entendre la serveuse devant nous. Assez pour enlever deux étoiles.
PRIX: on sait que les restos sont rendus chers, mais attendez vous à payer 25$ pour un seul plat, sans compter l'entrée, dessert & vin. La consolation est que vous risquez d'en rapporter à la maison, surtout pour la pizza.

I went in a Friday night. We had entrees (calamari, arancini, crab cakes) which were very good. We had pizza, but when they brought it, they had not cleared the table, which took a while. The pizza was excellent. Dessert was good as well (carrot cake, ciambelle fritti). However, it was too loud. It took away from my experience. If the music is loud, guests will talk louder, to be heard over the music.
I had a wonderful experience at Corneli's, & a big part of that was thanks to Jean. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcome & comfortable. He was friendly & engaging without being overbearing, which made our meal feel personal & relaxed. Jean took the time to explain the menu & offered some great recommendations, which really showed how knowledgeable he was about the food. He checked in on us just the right amount, making sure everything was perfect without interrupting our meal.
The pizza was fantastic-crispy crust, fresh toppings, & perfectly cooked. But honestly, Jean's service really stood out & made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back to Corneli's, not only for the great food but also for the excellent service. Highly recommend it!
Went for Valentine's Day & ordered from the preset table d'hôte menu. They were out of focaccia which came complimentary so they brought us rolls instead but we had to ask for it. The service was very good & the staff are efficient. The cavatelli as appetizers were excellent! The mains, however, were disappointing. The risotto & the cod were both flavourless & bland. Corneli are known for their pizzas & pasta dishes & we should have stayed with the staples. I have eaten at the Saint Laurent location & always loved it. I think it was most likely the choices we made. I would go back but keep to their specialties.
