The poutine was absolutely delicious! Perfectly crispy home made fries & rich gravy.. Nella & Chris showed incredible hospitality, would highly recommend!

Smoke meat poutine was absolute ABOMINATION, wish I took a photo to put THAT here instead!!!
Fries, sauce, I let it slip... But there was no meat like at all!
That aint gonna fly. & still! Whatever I could find was not smoked meat at all.
To Antonella (if I remember correctly the boss lady name): please, ma'am do sth about it, cause your workers will let your place go downhill which none of us wants.
J'ai commander des hot dog avec du ketchup, mayo & chou & 1 poutine. J'ai eu des hot dog au ketchup, mayo & poivre de Cayenne & une poutine très sec, c'est à peine s'il y avait de la sauce dedans.. J'aimais beaucoup Rex avant mais aujourd'hui j'ai été très déçue..
This place feels like a true old school family place. It's cozy & the staff is friendly. We've been twice & already feel like regulars. Not only that but the pizza tastes homemade, like the pizza we had as kids!
The burgers were not the best, but it’s an excellent choice to satisfy your poutine cravings. The gravy was delicious, & the generous amount of cheese made it even better.
Best diner on the Well. Great food, great service & still fairest prices you can find in Verdun. Steamies, cheeseburgers & the pizza are my fave. I’d also recommend the subs & gyros.
J'ai commander un sub all dressed & quand j'ai vu le sub y avais pratiquement rien dedand & la frite c'est comme si y l'avais remis dans friteuse une couple de fois, c'etais tellement bon avant mais depuis que ça éte vendu je commande ailleur que là, si vous voulez quelque chose de bon appeler da frank bonne bouffe & le sub est remplie là.
Bons prix, notre place préférée pour commander une pizza classique à Verdun! Edit 2024. Les dernières fois où nous avons commandé, la pizza n'était malheureusement pas aussi bonne que lorsque j'ai écrit cet avis, nous préférions la pâte de la pizza avant, la recette semble être différente. (Réponse au proprio) Je ne me souviens pas quand exactement nous avons commandé la pizza pour la dernière fois, ce devait être il y a quelques mois, mais j'ai écrit mon premier avis ils y a plus de 3 ans, nous n'avions pas commandé de pizza chez Rex depuis ce moment!
As a member of the big back community, I have had the opportunity to sample most of the greasy spoon restaurants in the cities I've travelled to & lived in. I have to say without reservations that Rex Should take the title for at minimum Verdun, but I think they'd handily win in a throw down with any other place. The food is served fast & with love. It's like your visiting your Grandmother for lunch & you know your going to be stuffed with the best possible food. I've not actually had anything bad, the menu is what you'd expect from this type of shop, but it's done well. The owner goes the distance for customers & it really shows. Ask any regular, they'll happily tell you.
