My mom, grandma & I had business at a store nearby, & we were positively starving by the time we finished, so we went at the first restaurant we found that wasn't shitty Chez Louis

We weren't very impressed at first since it's obviously very old & in a shabby part of town, & things weren't much better when we went inside & all of the staff just stopped chatting to look at us, since we were the only customers during peak lunch hours, but when we sat down & looked at menu, we found quite a surprise...

Calzones! You just don't find those anywhere anymore, which is a shame since they're usually great if done right. Everybody ordered'em, with a salad & poutine to share around. While the sides, poutine & coffee were all pretty damn average, the calzones were delicious

The crust was dry enough that you could eat it with your hands without getting scalded by soggy grease, it was thin enough that you could really taste the fillings inside & the really tasty sauce (they have what looks to be basil plants growing on the counter, so I'm thinking maybe they use the fresh stuff in the sauce), & it was crispy & seemingly toasted in a panini machine, which really helps with the visuals... easily the best calzones we've had

I didn't expect a gem to be hidden in such an old & shabby looking place.. if they gave it a fresh coat of paint, added a TV or radio or something & maybe washed the sticky & equally worn down floor, maybe they'd attract more customers but then again in that kind of neighborhood, maybe old regulars is all they can really hope to retain. Either way, make sure to give it a try if you have business nearby!

Nouveau dans le secteur, nous avons essayé ce resto car nous aimons commandé sur livraison. J'ai commandé une première fois deux pizzas toute garnie & vegé & avons bien aimé, par contre a la 2e expérience, vraiment déçu & on s'est fait avoir. Mon conjoint a essayé un sous- marin deluxe & pour la frites a fait la demande poutiné, donc 4.50 de plus, c'est ok. Mais moi j'ai demandé gyros mais si c'était possible de remplacer les frites pour une salade , n'importe quel sorte, peut importait. & bien j'ai eu un extra de 14.50. Donc un total de 56$ pour un gyros & sousmarin 7 pouces. On nous a pas dit que c'était un extra de 14.50. Assez exagéré. De plus, nous étions 4 pers. & avons commandé nos repas en demandant 2 factures , & bien les commandes ont été livré a 30 minutes de différence, = 2 livreurs différents a la même adresse. Vraiment déçu de notre expérience. Terminé pour nous

Écouter je suis nouveau dans le coin, j'ai voulu essayer ce restaurant.. Mais bon la fille qui a pris ma commande avais l'air perdu & ne pas savoir ou elle s'en allait. Ma pizza est arriver froide & la poutine a moitié remplis pour un total de 55,42$. Je ne recommande pas ce resto a moins que vous soyez vraiment mal pris.

Poutine western bonne avec des gros morceaux de saucisse mais malheureusement le fromage en grain était très fondu & la sauce correct pa trop salé pour le reste jvai aller assaye

Dur à évaluer, car dans le temps (il y a environ 8 ans) c'était sur la coche niveau nourriture & livraison. Ensuite, j'avais trouvé 2 cheveux mélangés à ma poutine, j'avais disons pris un break car ça m'avait écoeuré. Après un break d'environ 5 ans, je leur ai laissé une chance. La bouffe est toujours aussi bonne (pizza & poutine). En take out c'est très bien car c'est chaud. En livraison, dernière fois j'appelle à 16h15 pour recevoir à 18h. D'habitude je laisse 5-6$ de tip au livreur & là rien, trop long délai très déraisonnable. La bouffe était complètement froide, une poutine ratatinée. Bref, il manque clairement de livreurs & la gestion du nombre de commandesvs le nb d'employés doit être revue.
