From the time we're greeted hello until the time we finished & said goodbye we were treated like family. Great hostess Claudia who made sure we had everything we needed & then some.
We were greeted by the owner Joe who gave us a tour of tonight's table d'hote. I chose the table d'hote featuring veal with peppers/ mushrooms & a demi glaze sauce & a large helping of pasta with oil & garlic. The veal melted in my mouth, the mushrooms & peppers cooked to perfection. The pasta i asked for was a plain oil/ garlic linguini. Plain was not the correct verbiage....the pasta was far from it. Perfectly cooked & seasoned with oil & sautéed garlic. Could not keep my fork away from it too long. Prior to the main course I had the house soup - strechitella(work spelling sorry). Dessert was a wonderful chocolate ricotto cake with 2 really hard to beat coffees.
There is alot more to talk about but it is a MUST to try. P.s. the house red was delicious....great place to bring anyone & everyone.
Congrats to Joe, Claudio & the staff for making us a meal to remember literally blocks from us....which could spell trouble for us trying to keep our same clothes sizes. Try it, you will love it....
