What an absolute gem!
We recently had brunch at Resto Chel Mel, & from start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was amazing-generous portions, fresh fruit, & truly delicious food. We even asked to replace crêpes with French toast & there was no extra charge, which already says a lot about how customer-focused they are. Complimentary orange juice & very fair prices made it even better.
What truly sets this place apart is the people. Roxane, who served us, was incredibly friendly, warm, & smiling the entire time. Her attitude alone makes you feel instantly welcome, like you're among friends. You can tell this is a place where everyone knows each other & genuinely cares.
& a special mention to Marie-Josée-an absolute force of nature. Despite the freezing -26°C weather, she was outside cleaning the front of the building like it was nothing, then inside cleaning floors & helping Roxane. Strong, inspiring, & clearly the heart of this place.
It was our first visit, but without a doubt, it will not be our last. Resto Chel Mel has officially become our go-to brunch spot.
Bonus points for free parking, which makes everything even more convenient.
Highly, highly recommended-you don't just eat here, you feel welcomed. 💛
