It is my favorite filipino restaurant here in Montreal. The serving is huge, staff are super nice & funny & the atmosphere gives a carinderia & turo turo vibes from home! Everything is delish & my favorites are liempo, pata, pakbet, laing, fried fish, humba, papaitan & many more.
Comforting food, tastes like home 🇵🇭. The $15 combo is a great deal as it comes with two dishes, rice & a drink. The adobo was flavourful, sinigang was sour & the turon was a great way to finish off the meal. The tito & titas were very nice & friendly. The cafeteria style reminded me so much of the Filipino karinderia. The restaurant is quite spacious, lots of seating & tall ceilings. Will definitely be coming back & bringing friends here!
If you're Filipino & familiar with "turo-turo", this is exactly it, a genuine no-frills turo-turo place from folks up in the northern region of the Philippines serving up affordable & great tasting dishes. If you aren't Filipino, just know that the dishes here are genuine. We got two entrees with rice, a halo-halo (cold dessert) & a bunch of turon (banana dessert). The halo-halo was creamy & wasn't too sweet. The turon seems to be the best seller since there were a bunch of folks coming in & out ordering it to go, it did taste great when we ate it at the restaurant & tasted great even the day after.
