Restaurant Pachamama offers a vibrant selection of Peruvian and Latin American dishes with generous portions and a warm, attentive staff that makes dining feel welcoming. Dishes like the lomo saltado, ceviche and the rounds are consistently praised for flavor, freshness and value, with plenty of sharing options for couples or groups. The atmosphere is lively and friendly, and service is noted as helpful and professional by many, though a few comments mention noise, lighting or occasional wait times. Overall, the dining experience is frequently described as authentic, satisfying and worth the visit.
If you want to try traditional Peruvian food, this is the place. Unpretentious, genuine, simple, abundant, rich in flavours, colours, textures, delicious Peruvian dishes are served in this restaurant for reasonable prices, in a friendly, respectful & warm atmosphere. I recommend you to come!
I was looking for an authentic Peruvian experience & I was delighted beyond expectations. The staff spoke French, English & Spanish (& / or a mix of all three, at your convenience :). Definitely a restaurant to try on the plaza, I'll be back for sure!
Amazing Peruvian food! We had the Pachamama Ronda where you pick 5 dishes that you would like to have. All of the food was fresh & tasty! We also ordered Pisco Sour, the penultimate drink while enjoying a Peruvian soccer match! Can't wait to go back!
Lots of good food, good price, good taste, the size of dishes that peruvians like, always ask for the rondas, the seafood ronda, the criolla, the ronda pachamama & choose the best of the best options!
My first experience with Peruvian cuisine, & it's easily one of the best in the world. I tried the'Leche de Tigre,' & it was a delightful surprise-well-flavored & served with fried calamari. I recommend enjoying it with a Cusquena beer. Thanks to Maribel for her recommendations.
A traditional Peruvian Restaurant with, lovely ambiance & croud. I took one of the traditional dishes & it was very tasty, I will come back for a different choice next time. The service was very good 👍.
The prices are extremely high, we just came last month, & from one month to the other, the prices went up 15$, what a shame. It used to be our favourite restaurant, but I think this is the last time we will be visiting this place, there are very good Peruvian restaurants for half price. I strongly recommend Chez Cesar, good food & affordable prices, the only negative point is they are mostly take away.
We didn't know what to order since we had not had Peruvian before. The Ronda especial had two rice dishes which seemed a bit too similar. But the empanadas were an interesting mix of savory in a sweeter pastry.

OK for a Peruvian restaurant. Portions (& prices) are quite large so go for the appetizers instead. Anticuchos were overcooked. Seco's meat had excessive fat (it works for the Peruvian market but not for Canadians so cut it out). Ceviche was abundant & needed a bit more sweet potato. Drinks were impeccable: pisco sour was $11 & 1/2 a jug of Chicha morada, $6.
We had a little causa festival (3 little causa) & they were all too salty, we couldn't finish. This is a well-known restaurant, so probably was a day off, but the food was pretty much inedible, it makes me so sad because I love Peruvian food & the presentation was so pretty
Pachamama is a cute spot with indoor/ outdoor seating to enjoy Peruvian food. Unfortunately, the quality of food isn’t what it used to be. Last time I was there, yucas fritas were a big disappointment. I like the fact they have rondas which offers a variety of sample dishes in one. Friendly staff & decent drinks.

Place was dirty, food on the floor & half empty. Walls need a paint job. Peruvian restaurant that sells Colombian & Mexican food. Over salty guacamole with too many onions.
Huancaina had a weird taste, probably the cheese wasn’t good, potatoes not cooked enough.
Drinks too sweet.
For the prices they charge you would expect better, no wonder the place was half empty on a Saturday night, owner is probably tending the other 3 Resto’s they have.
Terrible place - avoid.
