Noraka earns praise for exceptionally flavorful food and a welcoming vibe, with sushi described as fantastic and portions generous, and popular Thai dishes and dumplings noted as well presented and delicious. Service is repeatedly described as attentive, quick, and courteous, with staff taking good care of guests, while the lunch specials offer great value and takeout is a common choice for sushi lovers. The restaurant is often called a hidden gem and an essential Montreal destination, praised for reasonable prices, a charming atmosphere, and a kosher option. A few reviews point to inconsistent service at times, balancing the otherwise glowing assessments. Overall the reviews paint Noraka as a versatile spot for dining in or ordering out, delivering bold flavors, variety, and solid value.

Outstanding, great food, service & ambience. Owner walks around & takes pride in his restaurant & cares about his guests. Food is fresh & tasty, most highly recommended!
Excellent food & service. However, we would have appreciated being able to add a glass of wine to the meal. The chocolate mousse cake for dessert was very tasty, but the only choice on the menu.
Good food. Many of items seem to have the same flavor sauce, with the difference being what goes with the sauce. I would like to see more spicy foods to choose from, rather than just adding hot sauce. Please remove the things that are not availably from the menu- the spinach dish, the green curry
We keep going to this place again & again & are never disappointed! It offers great service, top quality, & a beautiful ambiance. We love the Udon Beef & the General Tso. We highly recommend this place for a nice & intimate dining experience.

Good food, decent service. The spicy food was spicy, everything was tasty rather than bland. The only complaint is that there was no bread for netilat yadayim & it took quite a while to get a piece to make the bracha
