Les Belles Soeurs is a small neighborhood restaurant with a varied and comforting menu. Sandwiches, butterfly shrimp, burgers, grilled meats, tasty breakfasts and much more that will appeal to everyone, not to mention the soup of the day which is an astonishing surprise from our chef every time!!! Do not forget our house dressings, sauces and mayonnaise and of course our gourmet desserts prepared daily with love. We love welcoming you as much at breakfast, lunch, as at dinner! With us, it is sunny even in winter!
Les Belles-Soeurs feels like a charming neighborhood spot with a warm, convivial vibe and friendly, attentive staff that make guests feel welcome. The menu keeps things simple and affordable with burgers, a club sandwich, a salmon burger, poutine and a vegetarian option, all served with generous fries and fresh salads. Dishes that stand out for many are the club sandwich and the lamb burger, and the fries are often highlighted as a real plus. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, ideal for a casual dinner with friends or family, and the bathrooms are notable for thoughtful decor. Service is quick and personable, and the overall experience emphasizes fresh flavors, comforting favorites, and good value, with occasional notes about texture or price balanced by the positives.
So good. I ordered the veggie burger. Im upset I wont be able to experience tasting the veggie burger for the first time again. Just amazing, 100% would recommend.
Beau petit resto, vraiment charmant!

One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal, Restaurant les Belles-Soeurs has it all. Located on sleepy & quaint rue Marie-Anne, this cute, unpretentious spot serves a delicious mix of North American diner food & French classics. My friend & I started with the escargot gratin, then each got a burger trio (burger, fries, salad, & a beer for around $20) & finished off with a pudding chômeur. Everything was fresh & delicious - perfect comfort food to nourish the soul. The ambience is perfect since it was warm, we sat at a table outside, while a speaker played some relaxing jazz piano music. However, I have also visited with my girlfriend in winter, where we enjoyed the cozy interior. A bonus is the aquatic themed bathroom, which is totally unexpected, but fun nonetheless. The staff is incredibly kind as well, & they were able to accommodate my friend's sesame allergy by letting him bring his own burger bun. This place really is the definition of a hidden gem. Whether you live in Montreal year-round or are visiting, I would highly recommend paying a trip to Restaurant les Belles-Soeurs
Greasy spoon meets gourmet. Everything was spot on. The burger was good & it came with fries & a salad. The fries were fresh cut. The salad was made from scratch right in front of me, starting with green leaves that were sliced by hand. Everything tasted good. Overall excellent.
Just a short walk from our AirBnB. This places exudes comfy vibes, & offers an ample selection of local comfy foods. I started with a petit salad d'accompagnement, just the perfect sized refreshing salad. I followed it with a solo burger d'agneau (a wonderful lamb burger with mushroom, tomato, fromage & la crème aux épinards, & house Belle Soeurs mayo) & a petit Poutine Régulière (just the right size & plenty for two, gravy had excellent umami energy, curds were super creamy). It was all superb! We also enjoyed the fun evening playlist, added to the comfy vibes. Service was super friendly & helpful. We hope to back. Eat here!
Their solo burger is fantastic - everything I've ever had here is delicious. I visit Le Plateau monthly & I try & go to Lrs Belles Soeurs every time I visit. I don't think burgers can get any better. This may sound a little strange but make sure you take a look at the bathroom - the tile work is insane & gorgeous.
Came here for dinner with some friends. The staff were very friendly, & the food was outstanding. I ordered the Burger l'agneau au trou & it was one of the best burgers i've had in a long time. The spinach cream cheese was delectable. The prices are right, the portions perfect, & the washroom is out of this world! I would 100% recommend visiting this restaurant. I couldn't have enjoyed my meal any better. The vibe is great with twinkle lights, a christmas tree still up in February, & it was very warm & cozy inside.
