Service wasnt very good - considering an empty restaurant on a tuesday at 6pm! The waiters have to learn how to serve wine... they litterally splash you everytime they serve... I picked the ravioli with wild mushrooms & they were not cooked... they tasted like frozen ravioli that you buy from the supermarket... the sauce was good.
Always warmly welcomed, great menu prepared to perfection, attentive & friendly staff. Great relaxed ambiance. Made our special evening memorable!! Thank you Billy & staff.
Food is great but service really needs to improve. We were there for 25 minutes before we got to see a menu & that's only because I asked for them. Butter was on the table the whole time but guess what.. no bread... had to ask for that, too. They apologized in advance for their lack of service saying it was busy on the other side. Ouff our reservation was at 7 we finally got served at about 8:45. I never had to wait that long for a pizza. Time from r coffee & dessert. No menu again. Waiting & more waiting. dessert was served, of course, after we had finished our coffee. We even had to wait to payyyyy. Almost 3 & a half hours later? For a pizza Just too bad.
The food was delicious. The restaurant was full & had another large party, therefore service suffered.
Would go back during a more quiet time , not during Xmas season.

My wife & I wanted to hold a reception for our daughter & fiancee. Question .. where We had selected a restaurant in
Griffintown but someone suggested we look into La Piazza before committing.
We had dined there on a few occasions & while
we always enjoyed our meals, it never occurred to us to hold an event there. I asked around for some feedback & heard
positive reviews. So we decided to check them out.
Met with Billy, told him what were are requirements, eg , number of people, kind of crowd, & .. oh yes the budget.
He came up with a complete plan, covered all our requests & then some .. that's what he does. We were impressed & decided
to hold our event at La Piazza.
Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room was perfect. From the lighting to table setting .. right down to the placement
of napkins.
& the food was terrific ... From the hors d'oeurves, to the salads, to the main courses & desserts .. delicious!
The pacing of the evening was great, the staff was really super .. & most importantly, the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Could not ask for more.
So whether it be for a party or a quiet meal for two ... La Piazza - Le Challenger is definitely worth your consideration.

We recently celebrated our parents 65th wedding anniversary at La Piazza. We visited several other venues for our group of 22 guests before deciding on La Piazza & we couldn't be happier with our choice. From start to finish, Billy was readily available to quickly & efficiently answer all of our questions & concerns, & he took the time to offer helpful suggestions. Billy really runs ''a tight ship'' with a great team & he made everything very easy for us ! !
The excellent waiters, Mark & Antonio, served us in a friendly, efficient & professional manner, but the 'highlight was the food. Each serving was more than plentiful, very delicious, of high quality, & each serving was attractively presented. Superb value.
We held our event in the main dining room, which was spectacular & private, bright, with nice soft background music.
In our opinion everything was outstanding & truly exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend La Piazza, along with Billy & his team, to celebrate a special event.
