La Piazza Restaurant never disappoints!
There is certainly a plethora of restaurants to choose from in Montreal but few that measure up to the food ,service & overall experience that La Piazza offers.If I could give this restaurant & its great team 10 Stars -I would !We recently celebrated a 75 th Birthday with a group of family & friends .-Everything was absolutely wonderful The starters - An assortment -Platters of Fried Calamari , Fried Zucchini, Focaccia & Caesar Salad were a wonderful start to our meal .Our guests selected from mains that included - Osso Bucco,Vitello Limone, Linguine Pescatore ,Pappardelle Al Ragu D'Agnello.Each portion ( generous) was beautifully presented & delicious
.Every one thoroughly enjoyed their meal
( including our Italian guests AKA - Italian food connoisseurs ! ) .We had selected an Italian White & Red from a comprehensive list of wines offered at various price points.
Our event was on a Saturday night - a popular night with other groups of families ,friends & couples , the atmosphere was lively but without it being overly noisy or loud.
The welcoming ambiance coupled with the stylishly appointed dining room rendered the evening even more enjoyable .
Thank You & Kudos to Billy ( Manager) & the entire team who went over & above to make our evening a memorable one .Billy was of wonderful assistance in putting together a menu & fine tuning the details for the evening .His personable & prompt responses to our emails & queries was very much appreciated .Billy's attentiveness
was a key reason why we chose La Piazza to host the special evening .
A very special mention to our server Danny -
He is'the'epitome of service - professional , caring & attentive - never missing a beat .
From the moment we walked in to the time that we left - we were welcomed & treated
like we were the only guests in the room .
There are many reasons why we chose to treat ourselves to dining out -a casual evening or a more elaborate occasion -
It is the overall'experience'- that we retain & remember the most .
La Piazza Restaurant & its amazing team
always succeed in turning a meal into a wonderful & delicious experience - every single time .

The food is good, I tried the risotto, but only one option. The pizza my husband had was good also. Didn't like the cocktail, stay with wine or beer.

Positives: Nice decor, good food, good service.

Negatives: On weekends their reception rooms often used & music can be heard loudly & vibration felt strongly in the restaurant. Also, wine list is INSANELY priced. Cheapest bottle of wine is $62!!!!!! Like it's a posh $200/person restaurant LOL.

I recently had my bridal shower at La Piazza & it was such a great experience! We were able to have the whole restaurant dedicated to my party which was great. The staff was available early enough so that we could've set up our decorations. The wine, food, & service were all excellent! I highly recommend the braised beef as an option for the main meal. It was not only delicious but the portion size was very generous. Every guest had nothing but positive comments about the whole event. I'll definitely be coming back for future events!

Definitely an understated restaurant in Montréal! The food is always good, the wine is always great & the service is always impeccable! Definitely my fav go to restaurant

I love this place! The food was wonderful & the service was exceptional. Danny was attentive. He always checked with us to ensure that our water & wine glasses were filled. Moreover, he had great tips & fun tidbits to share! Even though it was busy in the additional rooms (salles), he was always present to make our experience a great one!
Very much recommend this restaurant for intimate & event celebrations!

Service wasnt very good - considering an empty restaurant on a tuesday at 6pm! The waiters have to learn how to serve wine... they litterally splash you everytime they serve... I picked the ravioli with wild mushrooms & they were not cooked... they tasted like frozen ravioli that you buy from the supermarket... the sauce was good.
