As usual excellent food at reasonable prices (a rarity in restaurants these days) . Our servers were friendly & efficient. Food was superb as usual. We'll be back soon
The 7 of us had the best time. Right when we walked through the door, we were treated like royalty. The atmosphere is relaxed & charming. The staff are the most beautiful people. Their attention to detail was incredible! The food was absolutely amazing. I would like to thank the Manager, Billy, for making us feel special; we felt like family.

There is certainly a plethora of restaurants to choose from in Montreal but few that measure up to the food ,service & overall experience that La Piazza offers.If I could give this restaurant & its great team 10 Stars -I would !We recently celebrated a 75 th Birthday with a group of family & friends .-Everything was absolutely wonderful The starters - An assortment -Platters of Fried Calamari , Fried Zucchini, Focaccia & Caesar Salad were a wonderful start to our meal .Our guests selected from mains that included - Osso Bucco,Vitello Limone, Linguine Pescatore ,Pappardelle Al Ragu D'Agnello.Each portion ( generous) was beautifully presented & delicious

( including our Italian guests AKA - Italian food connoisseurs ! ) .We had selected an Italian White & Red from a comprehensive list of wines offered at various price points.
Our event was on a Saturday night - a popular night with other groups of families ,friends & couples , the atmosphere was lively but without it being overly noisy or loud.
The welcoming ambiance coupled with the stylishly appointed dining room rendered the evening even more enjoyable .
Thank You & Kudos to Billy ( Manager) & the entire team who went over & above to make our evening a memorable one .Billy was of wonderful assistance in putting together a menu & fine tuning the details for the evening .His personable & prompt responses to our emails & queries was very much appreciated .Billy's attentiveness

Old place, not really good food & bad service. So much potential in the location but badly used. Our experience did not fit at all with the reviews. Disappointed.
5 star on the food & service! So personable, so beautifully plated, including the edible flowers, never feel rushed, everything is so tasty & piping hot, fresh, savoury, Danny is the best & the sweetest, & knows all the dishes, describes them to the T, chairs are so comfortable, table setting is perfection, so classy.
Negatives: On weekends their reception rooms often used & music can be heard loudly & vibration felt strongly in the restaurant. Also, wine list is INSANELY priced. Cheapest bottle of wine is $62!!!!!! Like it's a posh $200/person restaurant LOL.

Nous sommes allés pour la première fois souper & nous avons adoré. La place est accueillante, la décoration est magnifique,l'ambiance est relaxante & le staff est poli & amical. Les boissons & la nourriture étaient délicieuses, on a mangé une pizza Vesuvio , une pâte aux fruits de mers & un scaloppine de veau. Je veux remercier Antonio pour son accueil chaleureux, il est très sympathique & son service était exceptionnel. Une belle place à recommander .Nous allons sans faute y retourner .
It has been my pleasure to eat at La Piazza for years now. Fine dining at its very best. The restaurant has a modern & distinguished look, & has multiple rooms which accomodate wedding parties, anniversaries, & special occasions of all kinds. Music is low & ambiant, you can definitely hear the waiters speak to you as well as talk amongst yourselves.
The service is extraordinary, every waiter is experienced & seasoned, & knows how to adapt to your needs & tastes. Getting your food is not very long & you are allowed to eat at your own pace. & don't worry about an empty glass - that doesn't exist over there.
Food is EXTRAORDINARY. Beautifully presented, carefully prepared, & just amazing tastes. To give an example, I don't like beets, & never order fish from any menu; yesterday I had pan-seared cod in olive sauce with (not sure what it was called) beet-flavored black rice. It was insanely delicious.
These people feel like family, & with every meal is an exquisite white-glove level of service that we normally cannot find anywhere else.
Obviously it's on the pricey side, but you truly get what you pay for.
Don't crowd this place - it mustn't blow up or lose its quaintness. Beautifuly restaurant!
It is always a special experience to dine at La Plaza. This time we had a party which was a great success. The manager Billy was an outstanding host & a pleasure to deal with.
