Restaurant Hà is widely celebrated for its exceptional Vietnamese cuisine, with many diners specifically highlighting the crispy broccoli as a spectacular must-try dish. The restaurant is praised for its stylish, inviting, and cozy atmosphere, which creates a perfect setting for dates or group gatherings. Guests consistently compliment the high quality of the food, noting fresh flavors and creative presentations across the menu, including popular items like the Pad Thai, bao buns, and coconut salmon. The staff frequently receives recognition for being friendly, attentive, and highly professional, often going out of their way to provide excellent recommendations and ensure a memorable experience. Many reviewers also enjoy the unique speakeasy-style bar located in the basement, which adds to the vibrant, chic, and enjoyable overall experience that keeps customers returning.
The food tastes soo good, but unfortunately, the portions are very small for the price. Most dishes are $24 or more, & honestly, you may need to order twice just to feel satisfied. Even the wine serving was surprisingly small just a few sips for the price.
This was my third time eating here, & my experience has been consistently the same. The dishes seem to have very similar ingredients, with the main difference being the choice of protein like shrimp, pork, or chicken.
I personally wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a family meal because it can get expensive quickly without being very filling. For Happy Hour & drinks with friends, though, it could be a nice option. I'd suggest eating somewhere more reasonably priced first & coming here afterward for drinks.
Good taste, but the price & portion sizes need improvement.
Favolosi!
⭐⭐⭐
A wonderful dining experience in Old Montreal. The atmosphere is stylish & inviting, & the food was delicious. The fried broccoli was absolutely spectacular definitely one of the highlights of the meal & something I would order again. Great flavors, beautiful presentation, & a very enjoyable experience overall. Highly recommended!
Excellent restaurant.
I don't really agree with the other reviews saying it was amazing Vietnamese food. On the positive side, the atmosphere is very cool & I had a great maceration wine. Downsides: the food took a really long time to come out (1 hour although we did have starters before then) & wasn't standout for me. The lemongrass chicken was really spicy, which I didn't expect (I thought it would be more fragrant). The bowl was pretty average with plain noodles, a few slices of vegetables, few herbs & the chicken. Also we ended up with really upset stomachs.
