J'avais complètement oublié de laisser un avis après notre visite en février. Malheureusement, l'expérience a été décevante. Nous étions venus pour le menu de la Saint-Valentin, mais les portions étaient vraiment petites, surtout pour le prix, & nous sommes repartis en ayant encore faim. Les tables étaient toutes bancales, ce qui était assez désagréable, & il n'y avait pas vraiment d'ambiance romantique pour une telle occasion. Au final, c'était très cher pour ce qui était offert & le rapport qualité-prix n'était pas au rendez-vous. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, attentive, & professional service that made us feel truly valued. The food exceeded every expectation. The steak was cooked to perfection-so tender it literally melted in our mouths-& the desserts were simply exquisite, providing the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.
What made the evening even more special was an unexpected & thoughtful gesture. When the staff realized we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, they surprised us with a wonderful anniversary detail that genuinely touched our hearts. It's these personal touches that transform a great dinner into a truly memorable experience.
You can tell that every detail, from the quality of the food to the exceptional hospitality, is driven by genuine passion & care. We will definitely be coming back & will happily recommend this restaurant to our family & friends.

Je suis allée manger avec une amie samedi soir, la nourriture était délicieuse! Mention spéciale pour le service de notre serveuse Juliette & de la bartender Alandra qui nous a fait de délicieux cocktails!
Le tout était PARFAIT ! Service impeccable aux petits soins des clients. La cuisson des viandes correspondait à la demande (ce qui est rare en ce moment dans d'autres restaurants). Nous avons pris la côte de boeuf & le canard, tous les deux étaient tendres & délicieux. J'y retournerai avec plaisir. Je recommande à 💯 %
Une belle experience gastronomique inoubliable que je dois absolument souligner le Restaurant Benjamin pour sa soupe @ l'oignon gratine. Cette soupe est la meilleure dans la ville de Montreal. Ma mere adore la soupe @ l'oignon gratine & j'etais super contente que j'ai pu trouver ce resto en plein coeur du Centre-Ville de Montreal @ quelques pas de la station de metro McGill ligne verte de STM. On a aussi commande le plat principal hamburger' Wagyu'. C'est un plat delicieux & gagnant excellent. Nous etions decus @ notre retour cette fois-ci
la soupe @ l'oignon gratine n'etait pas au menu par contre nous avons essaye un plat de filet mignon servi avec un accompagnement d'artichauts grilles, tres juteux & delicieux. Nous avons mentionne de garder la soupe @ l'oignon gratine un item qu'il faut absolument garde pour toutes les 4 saisons car c'est

We went on a Friday evening as last minute decision - we were pleasantly surprised. Got a perfectly cooked steak flank (bavette) with fries. The sauce had the right amount of peppery notes while the fries were well seasoned. Got a Paris brest for dessert that was also very good. When the dessert is good & not an after thought, you know the restaurant cares. Finally, impeccable service. Our waiter was professional, attentive, friendly, & prompt. He easily switched between French & English, which is always appreciated. This is not a superficial restaurant, the stars are well deserved. Happy we have a solid addition to the downtown scene.

Très belle expérience avec MZ ! Le service était impeccable , chaleureux & professionnel. Mz est souriante & alerte , sans être envahissante. On se sent vraiment bien accueilli. J'ai eu un très bon repas & l'ambiance est 10/10 . Je vous recommande ce retaurant !
We had an outstanding dinner at Restaurant Benjamin. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect setting for a special evening.
What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was our server, Valter. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, & offered wonderful recommendations that made our meal even better. His professionalism, warmth, & genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening.
If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Montreal, I can't recommend Benjamin enough. Be sure to ask for Valter if you can-he truly made our evening unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!
